And the Bounts were making their first move in this new war, led by Gungnir Alexander Clave who was currently leading the first attack. The Shinigami had hunted the Bount race shortly after the Bounts themselves were created, which caused them to scatter about in the Human world and hide until the Shinigami believe they had exterminated the new Human species. And after spending centuries in hiding and plotting for revenge under Gungnir's leadership Gungnir had extend an alliance towards another race that would challenge the Shinigami, the Hollows.
Gungnir's first strike involved finding his way to the Valley of Screams were countless Blanks resided, Souls that had no memories. And with a large swarm of Bitto at his side he aimed to consume all of the current souls residing there and then share the Souls with his people, allowing the weakest Bout to even become strong. In doing so he was also hoping to attract the attention of the Soul Society and end up killing some Shinigami. "Spread out, gather all of the Blanks..."
[/color] And with that Gungnir began his own move, aiding his Bitto he began latching onto Blanks that were closest to him and feasting upon them the way the Bounts had before Gungnir created the Bitto. But, once the Bitto began moving further out Gungnir's attention was stolen, immense spirital powers were closing in on his current location, ha, the Shinigami were fast worker. Both Shinichi and Solo were dispatched directly by Commander Captain Isao in order to deal with the disturbance within the Valley of Screams where the memory-less blanks resided. It seemed that these blanks served as the perfect energy source for the leeches of the universe, more commonly known as the Bounts. They truly were disgusting little creatures and Shinichi was actually amazed at the fact that the Gotei 13 couldn't effectively exterminate such cretins. Oh well, at least it gave him a chance to get out for a fight, though he knew it would be quite a challenge depending on who they'd find. Then again, considering two captains were dispatched it could only mean that this particular Bount they were hunting for was indeed their leader.
"Let's not pussyfoot around, it's obvious he probably knows we're here since we traveled together and aren't concealing our reitasu." The small captain said before performing a simple shunpo, traveling in the direction where spiritual energy kept disappearing one by one, almost as though the lights in a city were going out like a domino effect. It didn't take very long to happen upon the scene of the crime.
"Tch. This is just fucking disgusting. Do you have anything to say for yourself, you sorry excuse for a cockroach? Or are you just going to keep on with your bullshit?"

Isao had sent Solo, and Shini on this mission, and that could only mean one thing. This was a very strong enemy that they were about to go up against especially if it required the two of them. That could only mean that this enemy was strong enough to handle a single captain on his own, and maybe he could even handle the two of them. Though that was doubtful because they were strong separately, but together Solo was confident that the two of them could take on any enemy. "Yeah I know. You would be a great superhero Captain Obvious." Solo said before his teammate activated his Shunpo, and Solo followed suit keeping up with Shini, and soon they were at the Valley of Screams.
Of course they would find a bount here it was only fitting because there were so many blanks here. Solo actually pitied the spirits who had no memories because he was a blank at one time too. He was able to sympathize with them on a personal level. He had lost his memories when he became a spirit, and that made him a blank. However when he had been sent to the Soul Society he had made a new name for himself, and he had become one of the strongest captains of the Gotei 13. Especially with his unique Shikai, and Bankai not to mention his personalized Shunpo. Not many could comprehend the uniqueness of his abilities.
"You Bounts are pathetic preying on those with no memories of who they once were. You are sick, and you deserve to die a slow painful death, and it will come at my hands." he said the rage in his voice would probably even impress the angry captain that he had been partnered with. His entire body was shaking with the anger that he felt. To see someone do this was infuriating especially since he use to be one of them it was making him more angry than he had ever been. To see the usually calm captain angry was not a sight many got to see.

Getting into Kyōgoku wasn't terribly difficult for Oscurità, after all, she did have the technology to open up portals, being that she was the Hollow King's own personal Soldado. This gave her certain special privileges and assets, though these things were very necessary for her if she were to be able to complete the missions which he had planned for her.
She ran through the air until she came upon the scene where it appeared everyone was fighting. The battle between the Shinigami and the Arrancar had already begun, though so far it was only verbal. Most likely they wouldn't have noticed her yet. They were probably too busy fighting each other to pay her low spiritual pressure any attention. Truth be told, she didn't have a terribly strong reiatsu, but she was valuable for other reasons.
"Hrm.. So he's the Bount Leader.." She thought as she looked upon him from above. |

Watching them from a distance he watched as they closed in on his position using the speed enhancing techniques the Shinigami were known for. Shaking his head he sighed, he found it interesting how those who would hunt him and his people were inferior, where Shinigami need techniques to increase their physical attributes. Gungnir and his Guard need not to as they were naturally superior to Humans and the like when it came to durability, strength, speed, etc.
Watching and listening to the undoubtedly Captain level Shinigami before him Gungnir remained calm and polite despite their rudeness and his hate he held towards the Shinigami. A cockroach? Ha, only in the fact that a cockroach is extremely hardy and resilient and is a survivor. But, his thoughts were quickly swept away as Gungnir eyed the second Shinigami to appear, who was weaker than the first one that had shown up. This second Shinigami was literally shaking with anger, possibly he held reseintment towards something Gungnir had done? Collecting memory-less souls? Cracking a grin he titled his head to the side as he replied to his soon to be opponents.
"Fools, you were sent to your death, and I am your maker."
[/color] A man of few words when facing his enemies Gungnir spoke only once more. "On mighty ocean waves bring me divinity![/color] And with that a dark grey ooze seemed to poor down from Gungnir's right jacket sleeve, until it came into contact with his hand where it formed a large scythe. It was then Gungnir sensed a weak level of spiritual power radiating from above, though he paid it no worthy attention.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] |

The young captain looked at the bount questionably before bursting out into pure laughter. His entire body was literally engulfed in laughter, each individual muscle seemingly contributing to this movement, hardly able to breathe considering how hard he was laughing. Was the joker actually being serious? Not only that, but the way he said, it was as though he were in some kind of cheesy movie where he was itching to use a shitty one-liner. After a few brief moments of laughter, he finally stopped and came around, finally focusing back on the situation. "Man, you're a rather funny guy." The captain simply smirked at a bit when he said that. Even though he was probably very powerful, he still wasn't going to fear him, he merely saw this as a challenge to his own strength and something he had to overcome.
"Ah, I haven't laughed like that in a while. Then again, it's not everyday you get to hear such good jokes from vermin like bounts, such comedians." He slowly drew his zanpakuto which resembled nothing more than an ordinary chokuto at this point. It wasn't as if he truly needed either his shikai nor his bankai as of yet, so he'd hold off on using it. Then again, it would be better if he didn't have to use it all, it would save him quite the amount of trouble.
"Alright vermin, I'll give you the first move then." Shinichi sneered at the bount as he said this before making a comment to Solo. "Oh and if you interfere, I won't hesitate to turn you into scraps either."

Oscurità watched all that was going on below, and more notably, that one of the shinigami had drawn his zanpakutou. Knowing how strong the Bounto was, she wasn't very worried. Nonetheless, she still decided it would be worth interfering, perhaps that would help her to gain some of his much-needed trust. Though, she was fully aware that he probably wouldn't need her to deal with these two captains. She would probably need his help more than he needed hers. Though, she had no worries. What could they do? Kill her? That hardly mattered.
She lowered herself and landed right in front of Shuuichi with her own katana drawn. She wasn't going to allow him to advance any further. Seeing as Shuuichi looked closer to her age and much less experienced than his comrade, she decided he would be the best choice as a target. She gripped her katana tightly.
"Two against one doesn't sound very fair, I'm your opponent," she said as she looked upon him. With the fragmant of her hollow mask over her ear hidden by her hair, it was quite possible that he wouldn't know for sure that she was an arrancar unless his ability to sense reiatsu was superior than most shinigami of his class. Regardless, he didn't need to know that yet.
"You shinigami have become spoiled with getting your way. You really need to back down. You have nothing to do with this. I would advise you to leave, or else I will be forced to kill you."

Watching the younger looking Shinigami erupt into near violent lasting laughter he just stood there, calm and focused. Facial expression neutral through out the Shinigami's laughter and insults Gungnir found himself almost ignoring the Shinigami as he shot the a glance towards the weak spiritual power he had sensed before, hmm a girl? Slightly familiar he figured her to be an Arrancar, though he was not exactly sure. Listening to the girl though he did smile a bit before turning his expression back into neutral. Though her final words did bother Gungnir, half of his being in the Valley of Screams was to draw in Shinigami like lambs to the slaughter. "These Shinigami along with the rest of their kind are ignorant to the fact their end is drawing near...so please, girl, refrain from giving them an ultimatum."
[/color] And with that Gungnir vanished as he began making his move. Appearing a short distance away from the angered Shinigami, slashing upwards with his scythe aiming to cut the Shinigami from their left leg to their right shoulder.[/blockquote][/size][/blockquote] |

Solo knew that he had to gain control of his emotions soon because if he didn't he would more than likely die. As soon as this thought crossed his mind the bount leader disappeared, and reappeared some feet away from him swinging his scythe. A smile formed across his lips as he thought that he had finally found a match for him in terms of speed. Though he would certainly find out in this match if it were true or not. Even without using the shunpo, or his own specialized shunpo which was of course a surfboard he was extremely fast, and he knew that his opponent would be in for a nasty surprised once Solo disappeared from view as well. It was true that Solo was only average in terms of physical strength, but when it came to speed he was by far one of the fastest.
As the bount leader swung his scythe towards him in order to cut his body Solo just grinned. Finally ridding himself of the anger that had just plagued him he disappeared from sight avoiding the attack. Well to the others it would look like he was disappearing from sight when in all actuality he was just moving incredibly fast, and everything around him seemed to slow down it was like he was in his own personal time bubble where he was moving at normal speed, and the others were moving at a slower pace than he was. It was like all the others were caught it some sort of glue that was keeping them slow. The thought that he was just as fast as the Bount Leader made him smile.
That girl troubled him he couldn't sense very much spirit energy coming from her, but the fact that he was confident enough to take on Shinichi troubled him. Shinichi could take care of himself though he was a very strong Shinigami, and to be honest Solo would more than likely need his help in this fight. He put those thoughts aside as he unsheathed his Zanpakutou, and he reappeared above the Bount Leader attempting to slash him across the face. "I really hope you don't have a date tonight bount because if you do well your not going to look to great for it." Solo thought with a huge smile on his face. He hoped that he would not be forced to use his shikai, or his bankai because well he didn't want to drown anyone with his abilities.
