The majority of Hueco Mundo is comprised of this, massive and expansive desert. The sand is pure white, tree like figures protruding from the ground. These are not trees in the sense of a Human world tree, rather these are actually made from quartz. The sky is a constant darkness, with a moon in the constant opposite lunar phase of that on Earth.
