KIDO;

• Seki [Bakudo 6]: Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
  
• Hōrin [Bakudo 9]: Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. the end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
  
• Kyokko [Bakudo 26]: Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
  
• Rikujōkōrō [Bakudo 61]: Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams
  
• Danku Bakudo 81]: Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89
  
• Byakurai [Hado 4]: The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger
  
• Shakkahō [Hado 31]: Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
  
• Sōkatsui [Hado 33: Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.

ZANPAKUTO;

Tetsuceru Shaboten [Iron Bell Cactus]
Iron Bell Cactus is a long blade, around 70 cm and is fairly straight with a one edge that is flat like a normal blade. The thing that makes the blade a little different in its shikai is that its double sided, both sides cut. This means one side cannot be used for reinforcement against the body and Kenji has to rely on his strength or other things to help him. For being the Captain of the Second Squad the blade isn’t the typical type of blade a captain would have. The Tsuba or crossguard is shaped in an equilateral triangle and the handle of the blade is colored red blue and yellow in alternating colors wrapped around the handle. The Saya, or sheath is brown and made of polished wood.

• Zanpakuto Spirit: The Tetsuceru Shaboten looks like this. The spirit world of this blade is fairly plain. It looks like a dessert, but its actually wooden florrs with thorns sticking from the ground. All around bells hang and ring constantly, confusing the person inside of it. There is nothing to help the person find their way. Once they find Tetsuceru they see that the room he is in is deep inside made of pure iron. The world seems endless.
  
  
• Shikai Phrase: Handan, Tetsuceru Shaboten – ”Judge, Iron Bell Cactus”
  
  
• Shikai Appearence: Tetsuceru Shaboten is pulled from the sheath and if time allows it, held downwards with the blade pointed to the ground in front of Kenji. The three points on the crossguard will glow red, blue and yellow respectively. From there swirling lights of the color will wrap around the blade. Tetsuceru Shaboten then shifts form into a Flysa [here]. From the end of the blade there are three tassles that are made of ribbons reaching lengths of about one foot each with a red, blue or yellow vibrant color.
  
  
• Shikai Abilities:
  
• Gaiken[Appearance]: The only of the blade. This ability can be used at any point at all. Gaiken allows the blade to do one thing only; create clones of Kenji. Three to be precise. Once this happens, there is the original Kenji with three others of him, looking exactly like him but one difference. The tassels on the weapon have changed. Each “clone” only has a tassel related to one color. So one clone will have a red tassle, one blue, and one yellow while the original has none. Gaiken is then activated from here on out. What the technique does is multiple things which makes Tetsuceru Shaboten a formidable blade. The Clones are not just clones. They are strong compacted forms of Kenji’s Reitsu mixed with his own blade. Because of this, the clones seem real. They can be touched, seen, heard, smelled and tasted. Everything about them seems like they are him. This allows Kenji to fight even when he is alone with three people, making his fighting force always 4 deep.
  
  Secondly, him and the clones are mentally linked. This means he can see through tier eyes, experience what they are experiencing and such. Meaning that blind spots are not usually around him. If him and one of his clones are standing back to back, he can see through his own eyes and also theirs.
  
  Finally, since the clones are made out of his own reitsu they can also be exploded, when needed. Each clone’s explosion covers roughly 50 yards in severe damage and is the strength in said 50 yards of a 60 level kido, meaning being attached to one of these guys can be VERY deadly.
  
  The clones of course do have a weakness. They cannot simply be created willy nilly. He can only create 6 throughout per release and can only have 3 out at a time. Meaning, once all 6 are gone, he only has a slightly larger sword at his disposal. Also, he cannot “hide” himself since, if one pays attention, the original Kenji has no tassles when the blade is released.
  

Bankai

• Bankai Appearence: The Bankai of this blade is…massive. If time allows it Kenji’s blade is stabbed into the ground and from a large triangle inscribes itself on the ground. From then, from each point, rises from the ground a LARGE version of his shikai. Each blade is about from the handle to the tip of the blade 30 feet tall and around 12 feet wide; meaning a single swing of the blade can easily take out a brick wall or some other large building. The thing that turns off most people in fear? Is that the main blade, the one in his hand is now in its sealed state instead of gone, giving him 4 weapons in total to fight with…the sealed blade…and three huge blades hovering around him.
  
  
• Bankai Abilities:
  Come on, you know what this means don’t you?!
  

• No Name Ability: This ability is Kenji’s ability to manipulate the movement of his large 3 blades through mental energy. He can cause them to swing, attack a target, block or do whatever he wants to them to do as long as they exist.
  
  
• Oomoji Batsu [Capital Punishment]: Capital Punishment is a useful ability that causes one of the huge blades to be used up and disappear. Oomoji Batsu is used from the smaller blade in his hand but its energy comes from the full blade. Kenji points the blade at a target and then mutters the words. One blade glows purple and disappears. From then, from the tip of his blade in his hand, launches a powerful beam that moves as fast as a shuupo and has the strength of Renji’s Hikōtsu Taihō (Baboon Canon) meaning it’s a useful and powerful ability that can be used up to 3 times.
  
  
• Sen Shuunen [100 years]: The strongest attack of the blade and causes 1 of the huge blades to be used up. Sen Shuunen causes one of the blades to shatter into 100 sealed versions of the blade in small form. All 100 blades then rain down on the opponent or fly after the opponent much like a swarm of bees attacking a target. Its similar to being impaled by 100 swords if it hits. The attack is very strong and useful against large opponents. Once down (last 2 post) the blades will evaporate into nothingness.

WHAT ABOUT THE PAST?;

Kenji Agate was named after his father, a attorney fo law who died during a court case. Because of this, his mother wanted him to follow in his father’s footsteps and hopefully one day become just as amazing. This of course, was a high thing to say since he was of a family of lawyers for many years; almost like a clan you could say. Born into a clan he was forced into her roles from a young age. The lawyer blood ran the strongest in his veins out of those of this branch. In his life time his father and grandfather had done many amazing things and built almost like a law empire in the family and in their sector of Japan. Because of this, the Agate family was sort of a law noble. When Kenji wanted to go to school and become a lawyer, many people already knew of his last name.

That is the reason Kenji was murdered at the age of 18.

When he went abroad to attend college, he was gunned down during one of his first classes; a case that hit the news. Many people in the USA didn’t know of Kenji’s family history but the murderer did, someone who wanted to finish the job he started. No one saw the connection and the following week his mother was almost murdered. Because of this reason alone Kenji believes he was given another chance to do something and not become a hollow, but he doesn’t like to think much about that.

*It Begins*

Kenji was reawaken into a nice part called the Rokongai. From then he wandered around, getting to know people and such, something we would call "bed hopping". Every time he would sleep through, some seemingly authoritative voice would speak to him and tell him what he was doing wrong and what he should be doing. This would later be shown to be his zanpakutou. It took him about a year to try and act upon it and within 4 more months we was adopted by a family in a better part of town. Not an amazing section but it was a good section close to the Seireitei. He saw many of the captain as he started his new life and already had a new goal in mind. As a driven person in his human life and someone who didn’t let much get him down (something that is even now a sort of a act) he wanted to be something great here too, though not many people knew this was because he would bide his time until his murderer died and then send him to hell with his blade.

Because of this he applied to join the academy as soon as possible. Being a good student he was able to keep much to himself, though he got into plenty of fights because of his “sarcasm” and seemingly “sweet attitude” when in someone’s face or his idea of loyalty to people who didn’t “Deserve” his loyalty. He would route for the underdog a lot and this got him beat up because of his small size. To be honest Kenji was smart and had talent but wasn’t the most…able bodied person.

Because of this when he graduated he originally was not assigned to the second squad but to the 5th squad for his skill in kido. But first he…got kicked out for violence. One day someone said something under their breath about lack of family and Kenji blew a fuse, almost killing the person with his wooden stick. Because of this, he was forced to take a long while, about 2 years off from his schooling and almost wasn’t let back in. Though he was forced to start over again, putting him far behind many of his classmates.

*Shinigami*

Many years passed and it was found he would make a good Shinigami. Off he was sent to the academy (one more time) to improve his status. It took him a while but as mentioned before he joined the Kido squad at first with the idea of simply using his kido to fight. Because of his kido he was quickly able to rise in the ranks to third seat.

The one day during a normal training day multiple hollows attacked. The 5th squad was sent to help and Kenji, along with the second seat and a few others were sent to fight. It ended up being a trick of some illusion hollow and there were more enemies there than expected, causing a slaughter of many innocent people. Kenji himself thought he was done for when his superior was knocked out against a tree. But…

…when all was lost, a voice spoke to him. “Are you simply going to sit there?” It asked, as everything seemed to slow down the spiked arm seeming to move slowly. Kenjiw as beaten and bruised but thought back. “What?” The voice replied. “You know who you are, you are a person of strength, of focus, you were a lawyer in your past life, cunning, smart, fast…and you’re going to end like this…”OF course Kenji said no, but he didn’t know what to do. The Voice then whispered. “Say what you want to say…go on…say it…”

Then Kenji spoke “Tetsuceru Shaboten”. His blade came out and summoned itself and blocked the attack, helping him to beat the opponent. Once he got everyone back to safety he applied for transfer to the second squad where he would be of more use. He then honed his skills of speed, cunning personality traits and self confidence, allowing him to rise to the second seated position.

He fought long and hard with his blade which was as stubborn and hard headed as all get out along with quiet and pensive to get its Bankai. He fought three times, losing massively before fighting multiple times with it, and almost winning. Then, around 70 years ago he fought one more time, won. This allowed him (since at the same time his Captain resigned) to apply and get Captain of the second squad.

Since then he has been holding down the fort as Captain and doing well.
