--- The basis, and general reasoning for the Ruling and Appeals board is simple; to ensure an ambassadorial, and fair community. This gives the members (Normal Members and staff like) the opportunity to implore their case on a specific topic. In essence, the member is basically explaining why he/ she feels something excessive was committed, or simply to state their opinion on a certain situation. This ensures all members have a fair and candid shot at a sensible conclusion.
Common types of Rulings |
- Character Death: Feel you’ve secured the ultimate victory against your inauspicious opponent? Rule on it, make it official. However, understand that all rulings are handled discreetly, and thus can debated, and defended by the accused. The most concrete argument wins. It’s also implied that with a Death Ruling, you can in turn, make a Death defense. Defenses to death attacks are done in the thread, basically replying to how your opponent plans to kill you, and reacting, like a normal RP. You can only make a death Ruling once one has posted a defense to it.
- Registration Appeal: Feel you’re rejected registration (Character, Weapon, Jutsu, etc.) was incorrectly or insensibly ruled against? Bring it to the light. State your case in regards as to why you feel the registered application should be acceptable. Usually, the Administrative Member who ruled against it will defend his/ her case. However other staff may step in to defend the Accused or the plaintiff.
- IC Actions: Feel something that happened IC’ly should become legitimized. Did you successfully take-over a village by force, or gain it through diplomatic reasons. Come here, plea your case, and have set in stone.
Now, these are just common Types, there could be a vast number more categories that I haven't covered in explanation. However these three will certainly be the most popular amongst members.
