Yasuo his personality is all based on a selfish lazyness. If he has to do something he doesn’t like. Then god, he can be such a drag. Constant complaining is how he rolls when that happens. Except if he does it out of himself, or for a friend. He will allways do allot for his friends. He says for personal gain so he wont be lonely. But that isn’t always the reason. He isn’t that cold. Also for his captain he pays allot of respect to him. And looks up to him. He is his example of how he hopes to be later on. But therefor he needs to learn to be less selfish and learn to burden and take responsibility of the entire squad. Which he can’t handle yet. Doesn’t mean that he never will.
Most likely if he tries to do something good he will only do it for personal gain. I mean if it woulnd’t help him. Why even do anything. It will only make him grumpy or tired for something that he doesn’t care for anyway. This lazyness drags him through life… sleeping… By this way of living he created his own quote saying:”Better lazy, than tired.”. And with this he lead his lazy life. Some call him a douch bag. But others think of him as the god of relaxing. Sometimes when people can’t find rest they go to him.
As for his respect. Let’s say he has a large vocabulary of calling people names when he hates them/ disrespects them. You will know when he likes you or not. Don’t bother asking how he feels about you. Because the words probably already fly out of his mouth before you even think of it. Most likely he feels like saying it. And then leaves directly after that. Since he doesn’t like to go in discussion. He always finds that such a drag. Or better said: “A waste of blood having to run through his muscles to talk.”
Though through his large vocabulary he isn’t that violant as his words. You can figure that out through his combat style. He prefers sealing people with bakoudo than to kill them. Also he becomes more calm in serious while fighting. His lazyness is then no where to be found. Unless he doesn’t take you seriously. Or he doesn’t feel like trying. Which is nearly the same. But when serious. He suddenly becomes headstrong wanting to eliminate an enemy. When in this state there are only few people who can calm him down. Also depending on his motivation he has to eliminate a person. But most likely he will listen to his captain.
Just as a normal Zanpaktou but it has a golden nob at the end of the handgrip.
WHAT ABOUT THE PAST?
Yasuo grew up in the reall world as a simple boy. His parents who went through a war. And lived in a period of peace. Named him after that. Born in a rather reasonable family with no worries or any doubts in life. Life sure was good that was one thing. Having lots of friends, school went well. Everything was great. But the only thing strange, was that he saw things other people couldn’t see. People with a chain attached to their chest. For him it was seen as normal. Doctors did tests on him but they could find nothing strange.
After a long talk with his parents he was told never to talk about that again. Because the doctors proclaimed that if he accepted these “Illusions” he would drive insane. So as the boy lived on seeing people floating all arround him. He decided to ignore him and leave those old times behind him. In a few years he grew up and took a job.
Delivery boy. That was his new job. Cycling all over the town delivering mail to people. Yeah the job went well and it wsa fun. But ofcourse there has to be a point where everything went wrong right? And yes it did. All these years supresing his spirit powers which made him able to see those ghosts. Was a bad idea…
On a normal day after school. He went home and lunched together with his mother who prepared some food. After that he went up to his room changing in to a deliver boy’s outfit and went out. Gave a goodbye to his mother. With somehow a small feeling it would be his last. But that couldn’t possibly be right? He said her good bye and went of on his cycle collecting the mail.
He arrived at the office. A clean white office with nobody in it. It somehow smelled really bad. He walked over to the desk and looked over it. Really nobody to be seen. There was only one package on the desk. That one must be his. He thought that it was best to ignore this silence and picked up package.
The rest of them must be delivering already. I must be late or something. He thought. With this in mind he went outside.
He loaded his bags and went off on the cycle. While he went off cyclying. He was really bothered by the fact that there was nobody there. How awkward. He remembered there always was someone there. It’s too strange there was nobody there. Was everybody on a holiday? No that can’t possibly be. And that smell? He was unfamiliar with it. He shook his head. I must be imagining things.
He then looked up. And pushed his breaks as hard as he could. Making himself fall. He scratched his arm open. He then looked up and there was a spirit standing there. He hasn’t seen them in a few years. And he always thought their chains were longer. Well he was young back then he could be mistaken. The spirit who appeared to be a lady. Turned her face to hre. A long pale woman with walls looked at him. Her long fussy hair falling in front of her eyes made it hard to identify her. Her pupils also looked very small, as if she is scared of something.
She looked back infront of her and kept on walking to no where. Without a sign of compassion or acknowladgement she kept on walking. To the no where. It was if there was no soul in her. No meaning, no purpose. This thought gave Yasuo the chills. His doctor said to ignore it and so he will. He stood up and cycled further.
“Damn, that wound hurt he said to himself.”
He made a few turns and went through a few alleys. Swiftfully he ended up in a suburb. He hated this district it was always full of scary people. But strangely enough there he stood at the end of the street but there was noone to be seen. Has there been an evacuation or something? He didn’t like this feeling. But he had to do this street. “Duty calls!” he said praying he wouldn’t be yelled after or being bothered by one of the locals.
He did a few houses and to his surprise everything went great without any troubles at all! This must have been his lucky day. This was the first time he was able to deliver here while smiling! This was amazing. But then a few houses further. There was this separate standing house. There was no mail box. So he had to walk all the way up to the door and place it down there. He stepped off of his bike. Opening the gate a little. Then a strong breeze came from the house. There he stood a letter in his left hand and opening the gate with his other hand. Did he had the courage? There was no speaking of courage. He had to do this! “Duty calls. Duty calls. Duty calls.” He kept repeating to himself while he walked towards the house.
Coming there, he noticed the door was slightly open. And this smell. It was from the office! There was no way he couldn’t walk in. His fear changed into curiosity. He opened the door and stepped inside. He found himself in an old room with a wooden floor. Cracking floors, nobody must have been here for a long time. A mouse silently slipped by his foot. And then there at the end of hall he saw the woman from before. But just a bit. He wondered where she was walking to. He couldn’t leave himself. And ran after the lady. After he went through the hall. He saw a bit of her dress going arround a cornor. He kept on running after the lady. While he ran after her. He suddenly heared her giggling. It was loud enough to be heared in the entire house. The floor cracked underneath his feet.
And then he found the lady in a room. The laugh stopped. He stepped in the room. The lady then turned arround and the door slammed shut. “Come to me!” She said. Somehow his body went moving on it’s own. He didn’t knew what was happening. He went closer to the woman. But then suddenly fear stroke in his heart. He didn’t want to go to the lady. Who was this lady? What was he doing? He reached the lady. He could move his body again. He fell and fell on the same arm. But there was no scratch on it. Did that never happen? And then he looked up. A large dark creature with a skull on it’s face looked at him while drooling. What the hell is going on?!? His body acted out of itself again. And ran towards the door. The creature let out an earbleeding scream. He fell on the floor putting his hands on it head. The monster came closer. With all his might he now crouched towards the door. But it was too late. The monster grabbed him and killed him. Then withouth really realizing what happened he had a chain attached to his chest aswell. Am I dead? Have I seen dead people all that time? Giving over to the monsters overwhelming strength. He lost hope in lifeHe forgave everything that ever happened to him. . It wouldn’t matter anyway. He was about to die. There was no way arround it.
But then when the monster brought him closer to his mouth a black figure cut the face of the hollow. And the large monster dissappeared. Yasuo still in the trance he was back then. Didn’t bother standing up. All he said was.
“Who are you?”
The man laughed and answered.”Your salvation.” He then put the back of his sword against Yasuo’s head. Without any resistance he disappeared.
He stood up. And looked arround. Where was he? A house made of wood? Couldn’t these habitants get any better? Then suddenly a man walked towards him.
“Ah, your finally awake.”
He looked up to the man. He seemed familiar somehow.
“Who are you?”
The answer sounded just stupid as the question.
“Your grandfather.”
The man managed to calm him down. And offered him a seat. He explained everything to him about the seireitei. After a long time explaining, of what happened and why he got here. He didn’t doubt anything the man said. And simply accepted it as it was. It was the most logical explanation right? Next to that it’s logical side is mixed with twisted sanity.
When he asked about the strange man in the black robes. He said he wanted to meet him and thank him for bringing him here. For saving him. The old man told him about the shinigami’s and told him that he wouldn’t even make it inside because they were not allowed to enter. The enthusiasm that just got him jumping out of his seat was now turned back to normal. He asked the man what shinigami were for. The man gave him an answer he kind of liked.
Helping people, through salvation. Yes. That was he wanted to do. Nobody had to go through the same things he did. He knew it from this moment, I’m goin to be a shinigami. From that moment on he trained every day. So he would be prepared for the day at the exams. So he can help people from being eaten by hollows. Through his motivation in becoming a shinigami. His whole family supported him. So he will be ready on that day that he would become a shinigami.
Years flew by as his appearance didn’t really changed much. Compared to the reall world he only become one year older. But now he was ready. His family really wanted him to become a shinigami but at his age they thought he couldn’t handle it yet. Well like hell he was going to wait on their approval. He told his family goodbye and went to the academy. The academy wanted to dissaprove him first because his looked to be too young. But after some talk they managed to figure it out. And he could now join the academy.
After six long years of hard training and work. The day was finally there. The day of the exams. He trained too long and too hard for this to let it all fall down now. Kido then Zanjutsu and then… Or was it the other way arround. Ugh… It must be his nerves. But he had to show it all now. No time for being nervous. Right now he had to do that.
First was Kido. Suprisingly this went even better then he’d have imagined at first. You could actually say he did great! He also was glad he got this part done well. Since he was really good at the kido during the training. He was glad his nerves didn’t got to him. The rest of the day went well.
Then after a few days the results came in. He checked the scorelist and it seemed he got the highest score on Kido! The other were ok. Not the highest but pretty good. Now let’s see what squad he was assigned to. Well he actually arlready knew the answer to that. It said with large letters.
“SQUAD 5 ASSIGNMENT:”
And then after reading over a few names. There he was ofcourse. Just like he wanted to. Great I’m here to pimp this squad! After a few days meeting the squad he quickly began te grew in ranks. I took him only 80 years to become a vice captain. All though he didn’t have ban kai. He sure showed this squad who’s best. It wont take long before he would even grow stronger then his captain. All though that’s what he says.
After a few years of being a vice-captain. He started to grow his personality to his and became very arrogant and lazy. All though when he’s infront of his captain he turns in to a well diciplined person. Nobody really knows how he will end up. But he wil bring terror before doing anything else.
