Hazama's main feature that most do not see is his demonic eyes, few have seen his eyes. It is the main reason he is always seen wearing sunglasses, it is not in his best interest to attract a high profile due to his appearance. Another reason for this is because he enjoys the reaction whenever his eyes are suddenly revealed by his own choice. The eyes look red/orange, easily looking like those of a demon. His hair is blonde and is always gelled back, there is no amazing reason why other than Hazama simply prefers it this way. It seems to always stay in that condition, whether he is getting blown up or moving at high speeds. One can only assume it must be some sort of powerful, shinigami gel. The sunglasses he wears are usually either fully black, or have a slight, golden tint on them. They fit perfectly on his head, fortunately for him. Underneath the typical captain's outfit, he has a snake skin combat suit that can take a lot of punishment before looking worn out. Usually whenever he gets into a fight that will take effort, he disregards the captain's outfit and begins to fight in this snake skin outfit. The outfit looks like THIS. Hazama has a well-toned body and is around 6 ft, weighing around 200 pounds. He is of Caucasian race and fairly tanned, not being pale or dark.

Hazama is an arrogant individual, looking down and underestimating everyone that he feels is below him. In battle he does not talk too much unless he is spoken too, however on the occasion in the fight he will throw a few taunts at the enemy.
To those who know of his power, it is easy to feel intimidated by him, the stare of the black sunglasses can easily intimidate anyone not as strong as him or anyone who is easy to intimidate. Hazama is usually calm until he takes more hits than he would like to take.
He does not like to be given orders by anyone, especially by someone other than Captain Commander, as he feels he is the only one worth giving him orders due to his immense power. However, Hazama still hates to be given orders by even him, believing himself to be too good, showing his arrogant state of mind.
Hazama, like many other people want to become stronger, more powerful. Although, Hazama wants to become stronger a bit more than others and would go to various lengths if he was guaranteed a high rise in power, even if it meant sacrificing his men, or even betraying the Soul Society itself if there was the promise of ultimate power. Because of this, Hazama tries not to befriend anyone. This does not mean he would not gain allies though, Hazama will side with someone if he agrees with what they are doing, preferring to let his thoughts speak out loud.
Funnily enough, even for his division Hazama is a very intelligent man. While most 11th Division members are only known for their battle skill, Hazama is not only known for his amazing battle skill, he has intelligence that could even rival some of the most intelligent members of the 12th Division. Because of the intelligence he possesses, it also enables him to be a skilled tactician in the midst of battle.
In terms of battle, Hazama enjoys a good fight. While not a battle-hungry beast, if the challenge seems interesting enough for him, or most of all, if it provides the opportunity for him to get better, he will take it. When fighting an opponent, Hazama does not like to end it quickly. While he does not torture his opponents in battle, he prefers to show off his ability, as if he was attempting to show the opponent that the belief of them being able to defeat him was ridiculous. Hazama enjoys mocking them in that way, enjoying to show off his power and prove their goals were all for nothing. Sadistic.
Hazama also knows when it is time to quit. While he does believe he is one of, if not the most powerful captain excluding the head captain, if he is losing in a fight and knows he will perish, he thinks of it as a fool's trait to simply stay and fight. Knowing there will be certain death, Hazama will flee in order to live so he may take his revenge at a later date.

Even though Hazama knows these kido spells, he rarely uses them and will only use them unless he absolutely has to.
Shinigami Techniques/Abilities
- Exceptional Super Attributes - As his main shikai ability is to focus on significantly increasing his attributes and because he is always in shikai form, Hazama has incredible strength, speed, stamina and reflexes even for captain level. His Hakuda skill (master level) combined with his attributes allow him to break through walls, rip through body parts and block zanpakutos with his bare hands. His speed allows him to move incredibly quick, enough to keep up with most likely all other captains, maybe even faster than some of them too.
- Captain level spiritual pressure - Being a captain, he has an immense and intimidating spiritual pressure that rivals all the other captains except the head captain.
- Shunpo expert - Hazama is very good with the flash step technique, mainly using it in battles to show his opponent how much quicker he is than them.
ZANPAKUTO;
Kazuya Keiji
In it's sealed form, the zanpakuto resembles a katana with a black guard. The blade itself was darker than most, having a slight black tint to it. Other than this there was no other unusual features on it. However, due to the zanpakuto being a constant-release type, it is never seen in this form anymore as no zanpakuto is to be seen. It is in constant release because Hazama prefers to fight with hakuda at all times, therefore making him always be in shikai.
- Zanpakuto Spirit: The spirit of the zanpakuto looks like a human. A man. Just by looking at the being, you get the feeling he is cunning and sly, however he also looks like someone you would not want to get into a fight with. Something about the man is frightening, he has fiendish eyes and a black, messy Mohawk, appearing as This man on the right.
The inner world is a large, dark throne room, decorated with tables and expensive ornaments all around. A large throne sits silently at the end of the room, looking like it was made for a king of demons more than a king of the people. It is easy to assume this represents Kazuya and his personality, a cunning and arrogant demon in the form of a human, but at the same time it could easily represent Hazama, a cunning and arrogant shinigami.
- Shikai Phrase: There is none as it is in constant release.
- Shikai Appearance: Whenever Hazama is out of battle, there is no sign saying he is in shikai other than the absence of his zanpakuto. However, when Hazama enters battle, what seems like jet black smoke begins to surround his body. especially his fists and feet. It is very faint yet visible.
- Shikai Abilities:
Attribute Increase - A simple yet effective ability of the shikai is that it greatly boosts the user's physical strength, speed, reflex, stamina etc. Much greater than any other normal shikai. While the big increase boosts his physical speed (appearing as teleporting to significantly weaker opponents), stamina (able to fight for hours) and reflexes, and most of all, his physical strength (able to punch through walls, punch through body parts), there is no flashy or incredibly useful abilities like most other shikai abilities contain. The physical strength of Hazama also means he has incredibly tough skin, mainly on his arms and legs (able to block zanpakuto's even in shikai form without harm done), with everywhere else being a weaker point.
Pheromone manipulation - Hazama is able to change how someone is feeling as long as the target is able to smell. Through these invisible smoke fumes being sent to the target, Hazama can make a person feel angry, calm, depressed, happy, sad, sexual, tired or something similar to a limited degree. This helps a lot whenever he is trying to persuade someone, intimidate someone or simply trying to distract someone in a fight. This ability is only known to Hazama, no other person knows about this hidden ability of his.
Enhanced senses - Hazama is able to see miles further than everyone else if he focused in on a spot and see in the dark; Hear much more up to a pin drop among a crowd of people if he desired to focus; Smell enough to track a person through scent.
Bankai
- Release Phrase: "Become the Hunter..."
- Bankai Appearance: Jet black smoke surrounds the skin of Hazama, the smoke rising up into the air above his head before vanishing slowly and repeating over and over. As soon as he enters his Bankai, he is engulfed completely by black smoke for a short second, and as the smoke returns to the normal amount for the bankai, Hazama is wearing THIS on his arms and legs.
- Bankai Abilities:
Physically Supreme - His physical attributes rise to even higher levels, his skin being able to take much more physical damage, strength increasing to higher levels; Being able to manhandle opponents multiple times his size, smashing through thick walls without effort; Speed that appears like teleporting to people lieutenant rank and under, hard to keep up at captain level; Stamina to fight for hours in tiring fights; Reflexes that react to attacks extremely quick, harder to react to captain level attacks than attacks below the standard.
Pheromone manipulation - He can now alter how someone is feeling to even great heights, being able to make someone feel sluggish in order to make him appear even faster than he actually is, making someone very happy in order to help his chances of persuasion etc. Once again, this is an ability only known to Hazama, no one else knows about this as he has never revealed it.
Enhanced senses - Hazama can now see through illusions, even the ones of highest standard, is able to track anyone (unless a master of covering their scent and tracks) in the same realm e.g Soul Society. If focusing, he is able to hear the sweat run down someone's cheek.
Feral Fist - Hazama is able to charge his right fist, making it glow with a black energy, surrounding the armored fist of his for an insanely powerful attack. The punch if it connects is able to potentially kill a captain-level opponent, although even if it hits or misses, Hazama will be drained of most of his fatigue and will find it hard to simply move, making it a risky move. The punch itself is fairly faster than a quick punch in bankai mode.
WHAT ABOUT THE PAST?;
Like most souls that enter into the soul society, they forget their history, forget what happened in their first life. Hazama was no exception. The time he suddenly found himself in the Soul Society was perplexing at first, although as it was the only thing he knew at the time, it was easy to adapt to. Growing up in district 80 of Rukongai, a rough area, Hazama got into many fights. He won some. He lost some. It did not bother him too much, he learned to naturally fight through the battles, his hakuda and survival skill getting better and better. In a way, he could thank the area for making him the man he is today.
Until one day....Hazama was surrounded by several, violent gang members. Trying to fight, the numbers overwhelmed him, the natural skill not being enough, survival looking more and more like certain death. He fell to the floor, getting kicked, booted and punched to point of almost being unconscious. Left to lay in a muddy ditch, Hazama found it hard to move and stayed there for minutes upon minutes. Soon, he rose up. Hate in his eyes, no mercy plaguing his mind, slowly walking his bruised and battered body to his home. Hazama sat in the dark, visions of tearing the foolish men apart, furious of their insolence. All of a sudden, a voice spoke to him. A voice that was inside of his head. The cunning voice, the voice that sounded like it had hate silently boiling inside of it, it told him to grab the blade next to him.
Shocked, yet still angry and fuming, Hazama asked no questions, looking at the black blade that appeared next to him. The raging individual grabbed the blade and headed out the door, a mission of revenge. It was not hard to find the gang members that had jumped him, in fact, they found him; It had seemed they wanted to show off their power in numbers some more. As it began, their faces seemed surprised and somewhat frightened when Hazama took out the zanpakuto, not knowing how to react, they continued to run at Hazama. One by one he cut them down like dogs, viciously ripping through them until only one was left. This one fell to the ground, now looking up into the demonic eyes of Hazama. It cannot be told for certain what made these demonic eyes show. Maybe it was the zanpakuto. Maybe it was the hate he was feeling. Maybe it was always there, just never seen. Either way, the man was so scared he could not move, he could not even beg for mercy, he was too petrified.
And in that brief moment, Hazama was pulled into the inner world of his zanpakuto. Kazuya Keiji; A being that looked like the living equal of arrogance and cunning. The inner world was a throne room, filled with ornaments, expensive things and a throne at the end of the room. All of it was not colorful or golden, instead the place was all dark. A dark throne. As if it was made for a king of the night rather than a king of the people. Of course, all of this was meant to represent both individuals, both Kazuya and Hazama. Both wanted everything, both wanted more power. Rather than a battle, all of the time spent in the inner world was in conversation. Kazuya's arrogant personality mystically passed to Hazama throughout the time they had been in there, Kazuya asking questions. Questions that Hazama needed to answer personally. All of this time, the throne chair was vacant, no one sitting in it, as if no one could sit in it.
Soon after, Kazuya felt Hazama as worthy and told him his name. Then Hazama was back at the dark alley, the scared man in front of him, not knowing what to do. Hazama looked at his hands, a black smoke coming from them and the rest of his body. Faint. Yet visible. He could feel power coursing through his veins, his hands shaking through the sheer physical power. A grin crept onto his face, he felt the hate go away as the members lay dead except one. It was as if his hate was replaced by arrogance, cunning and confidence. In a moment, Hazama's fiendish eyes looked at the gang member's eyes. In that second...Hazama had plunged his fist through his chest. Vengeance was complete.
After more contact with Kazuya, he advised Hazama to join the thirteen court guard squads. Hazama, also knowing that the training there would help him to become more powerful made it his next goal. Entering with sunglasses to conceal his eyes, Hazama was immediately placed into the 11th Squad as the lieutenant, seeming as he was already of the desired age and possessed a shikai. They decided to put him into the squad because they believed his shikai abilities mainly increased his battle skills and had no other points, obviously not being aware of his pheromone manipulation or enhanced senses.
Upon entering the 11th Division, the captain was a powerful and determined captain, willing to train Hazama to become his successor when the time came. Throughout the years, the captain made a special training program for Hazama, seeming as like all other shinigami they had some sort of zanpakuto that could be seen, where as Hazama mainly focused on fighting with his hands and feet. Because of this, most of his time training was spent improving his hakuda and shunpo, both needed for someone who fought like he did. Hazama quickly became a master of Hakuda, simply because unlike the rest of the shinigami, he did not have to focus on training with a blade or training his kido, therefore most of his time was spent improving on two things; Hakuda and shunpo.
Over the years, he became a master of the both of them, being able to use them extremely well. The captain of the 11th division felt it was time for him to learn a bankai. Dedicating his training to learning a bankai, Hazama spent years and years in a hidden location in the soul society, only coming out to do occasional duty or to eat and drink, before finishing up quickly and returning to his training. The time soon came when he materialized his zanpakuto, him and Kazuya having a dangerous battle. The battle was a battle of pure hand-to-hand, both having similar abilities to each other. After a long and grueling battle, Hazama ripped his fist into the chest of Kazuya as Kazuya drove his fist through the mid-section of Hazama. With Hazama doing the more fatal blow, a satisfied Kazuya returned to his inner world, leaving Hazama almost dead. The healing factor of the bankai he entered straight after healed him fairly quickly, the bankai pleasing Hazama, thinking of himself more highly than ever.
He soon realized that his bankai was similar to his shikai, and that because of the similarities it did not take as long to master as most other people's bankai abilities would. It was simply getting used to the strength, speed etc. He already knew how to control and use his pheromones, using them to a higher degree was an easy feat, his enhanced senses were fairly easy to adapt to after focusing, it was not too different from his shikai ability, just stronger. The ability that took him time to master was the Feral Punch. After using it he felt the consequences, he could hardly move for several minutes, if it was a real fight and he missed, he would of been easy to kill.
Returning from training, without warning, Hazama immediately challenged his captain. The challenge was accepted by a sad captain who did not think his lieutenant would act in such a way and once enough members were present, the fight begun.
The fight was long and grueling, the captain seeming to be holding back. Hazama was calm and arrogant all the way through, not saying a single word as he attacked the man who trained him. Going into his bankai mode, Hazama used his pheromones, making the captain feel more and more angry, before the captain grew reckless and activated his bankai. In the short time it was activated, Hazama had drove both his hands into the captain's chest before brutally ripping them back out. Hazama wasn't that quick to catch his captain off guard. He had simply used his pheromones to make him feel sluggish for a short period of time. The captain was somehow still alive after the battle, and Hazama knew that would not do.
He lifted up the head of the laying captain, the captain saying his last words, telling Hazama how proud he was of him and that he would be a great captain. A smirk just appeared on the face of Hazama, taking his sunglasses off and revealing his demonic eyes to the captain. Telling the captain, "The pleasure's all yours.", Hazama finished him off with a blow to the heart, leaving the spectators speechless as it was the dawn of a new captain.
Meanwhile, in the inner world, the dark throne room of Kazuya had been unlocked somehow, a grin on Kazuya's face. The feeling and blockage of the black throne was gone, it had seemed achieving bankai had allowed access to the throne.
It has been years since that battle, and ever since Hazama has been training his hakuda, shunpo and bankai to reach the level he is at now. A powerful captain and an arrogant individual, it is unpredictable for what such a man will do next.
