- His number is tattooed on the nail of his right middle finger. However, his number is also etched on the habaki of his zanpakutou. People would have to look carefully to notice both.
Zasalamel rarely shows any amount of emotions on his face. His visage is that of a silent air, unmoving, constant, and unaffected. This is matched only by his golden yellow eyes, which are both cold and demeaning. Anyone who stares at them would see a deep, emptiness that seemed to encompass eternity. There is only ruthlessness, coldness, and a very high level of silent aggression seen within the linings of his pupil. There are no warmth in his eyes, and certainly no joy. People who gazed at them would say that Zasalamel's very eyes bring only despair, as if hope is nonexistent in his world. His gaze can be described as if they could stab another person with sheer intensity alone.
Zasalamel's voice is extremely hushed, akin to a whispering tone. His very voice harbors ominous tidings to anyone who hears them. Why wouldn't it? He rarely speaks, and only do so when he is required to speak. Otherwise, the best anyone would get from him as response is a nod or a simple shake of the head.
His body build isn't exactly well-off. He has a slender build, averagely like a teenager. He does have muscles but not really much to boast off, and he doesn't have much of a set of abs. He's not thin, however, but not bulky either. Simply put, his body build is average. His pale-brown skin has a healthy glow to it, yet still pale. There isn't much scars visible on him. On top of his torso, he wears a fitted, plain, black shirt while a long, black trench coat tops it off. His trench coat is deep black, and looks fluid. It flows down from the neck all the way down to around the calf area.
The trench coat has a collar which covers Zasalamel's neck when closed. However, his trench coat is open most of the time. Sleeves flow on each arm, black and slightly fitted. The sleeves have a silver line spiraling from the shoulders, all the way down to the wrist area. On both hands, Zasalamel wears a black, leathery gloves with a metal-like exoskeleton. This exoskeleton is extremely durable, and lines each finger, the thumb, and the backhand portion of each hand.
On his lower body, Zasalamel wears a black hakama, similar to a shinigami. However, this hakama has the same exoskeleton present on his gloves. The exoskeleton runs around the waist portion, and down each side of the legs. On his feet, he wears a black waraji, and a black pair of socks which covers both feet.
HOW DO YOU FEEL?;
PERSONALITY;
- Dead Silent; He will speak, but its very rare. You're better off talking to a rock.
- Ghostlike; He moves and acts like a ghost, going around and appearing even in the most inopportune times.
- Emotionless; You won't even see a strand of emotion on his face, not even pain.
- Cold and Devious; Since he's emotionless and silent, don't expect even the slightest welcoming feeling with him.
- Passive; He doesn't really like doing things unless he needs to do them. He's better off doing things on his pace, which is more or less very slow.
- Neutral; He's not into arguments very much. When two sides are in conflict, he simply remains silent. He will only interfere if someone ranking higher than him orders him to do so.
- Efficient; Among other things, he is very efficient in doing his duties. Not a step too much, nor a step too little. He does it exactly as required. If he doesn't need to kill, then he won't. But he will accomplish his mission regardless of an obstacle.
- Removed from reality; He's very much a loner. Its as if he exists in an entirely different world. His eyes are a testament to that, albeit they have a rather gruesome effect on anyone who dares stare at them.
Zasalamel, or just "Z" to just about everyone he knows, is a similarly compared to a fleeting image of an apparition. Not only does he seemed nonexistent most of the time, but he's also very isolated from the rest of the world. Once he appears, its usually for a good reason, or he's simply bored. But even then, he's not really one to be noticed immediately. Mainly because he does not speak, a lot. If he does speak, its very rare. IN fact, its so rare, the only time he really speaks is when a higher ranked Lanza addresses him, or he have something very important to speak. Even in releasing, a barely audible whisper can be heard. This habit also extends to his movements, as each step he takes or every whisk his clothes makes, no clearly audible sound can be heard.
He walks much like a ghost as well, his feet hovering an inch from the ground. The air around him is silent, and indifferent. Much like how he is, Z is actually very neutral. Not once did he sided with anyone, unless there is a very, very, very important reason behind it. Aside from that, he also never shows any emotions, ever. The best that could be said about how he reacts is a simple nod of the head, and a rather empty stare from his ominously gazing eyes.
Z also has a rather uncanny habit of being the silent observer. His eyes move around often, taking in the scene, the colors, everything. And yet his eyes show no hint of warmth. No. He simply observes because it is in observation that he learns everything. He need not speak. All he needed was to stare, and observe. Which is why among the ranks of the Lanza, Z is actually one of the best, if not the best person to send in stealth missions. Him being observant often means that he stays at a place most inconspicuous to people.
In battle, nothing much change for Z. In fact, even in battle, he does not show even the slightest of emotions. His blank, emotionless facade stays all throughout any battle, regardless of pain. His combat stance is one that is simple, and yet solid. He takes each fight at a rather comfortable pacing for himself, barely trying to actually kill anyone unless it was required for him. Most of his past opponents would describe Z as a ghost, even in combat, as he seem to float in and out of attacks.
Past his indifferent visage is actually a skilled weapon's master. His martial art revolves around a rather refined and precise use of either a sword or a spear, and he is most effective when handling either of the two. Most of his opponents tend to underestimate his battle prowess because of his rather lack of killing intent. However, when completely enthralled in combat, Z can be a very dangerous opponent, especially one in close quarters.
SHOW ME YO' MOVES;
ARRANCAR TECHNIQUES;
- Bala Magnetico: Z can fire the standard Arrancar-Level Bala with but a flick of his finger. Instead of using his fist, he can use just his index finger, and flick it by sliding his index finger through his thumb. His Bala , however, is different from the ordinary, as it has magnetic properties. While it does a lower amount of damage than most Lanza-level Bala, it can magnetize objects. If fired at the path of an incoming Kido or reiatsu-based attack, it can slightly alter the path of the attack, but not entirely. Also, it doesn't explode on contact, and instead, it implodes inwards, afflicting any object or limb it hits to become either Positively or Negatively charged, depending on which charge Z used to fire the Bala. The charges doesn't have an effect by itself, and cannot be felt by the target. The Bala is distinctly black in color.
- Aumente Cero: While unable to fire a Gran Rey Cero, Z can fire a weaker, yet extremely faster version of it. This Cero travels at 5 times the speed of an ordinary Gran Rey Cero, but has power equivalent only to an ordinary Lanza-level Cero. Also, this cannot be fired in succession, meaning that another ability must be used first aside from this Cero, before firing another shot of it. This can be fired only from Z's index finger of either hand, and has a bright cyan color.
- Línea Cero: While most Arrancars and Espada fires a cylindrically-shaped Cero, Z fires a more concentrated, yet thinner form of Cero. Its power is worthy of his rank as the Segunda Lanza, but it does not cause any explosion. Its a precision technique that implodes on impact, causing severe damage to singular targets, compared to most Cero's explosive attack. Z can fire this Cero from either of his eye, or from the tip of his zanpakutou. This particular Cero is pearlescent white in appearance.
- Garganta: Z can tear open the fabric separating worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. He uses this to move around in different realms, and sometimes, to move around in the vast space of Hueco Mundo.
- Informe: Z can tear an alternate version of Garganta, which allows him to replay all that he has seen to the other Lanza. The Informe replays all the events in its maw, detailing information that Z knows of. A twin-pitched voice announces the events. Several Informe can be opened up depending on the requirements. Z can only do this if he is not in combat.
- Hierro Magnetico: Z's Hierro is a tad different than most Arrancars. While yes it retains its ability to harden Z's own skin, forming a layer of defense, his Hierro is magnetized. Compared to most Lanza, his Hierro is simply average. However, the real utilization of his hierro lies in its ability to mitigate massive damage if the attack that landed on him is of the opposite charge (i.e. Positively Charged attacks will do significantly less damage if Z's Hierro is negatively charged, and vice versa). The opponent has no way of discerning the Hierro's inherent charge, but this does not apply to the King of Hueco Mundo or the Captain Commander, since they are assumed to have a significantly higher level of detection. Finally, it takes a second before Z can change the charge on his Hierro.
- Advanced Pesquisa: Like most Arrancars, Z has the ability to gauge his opponent's spiritual pressure through the use of this technique. However, he has a more accurate Pesquisa, able to gauge overall strength, and even pinpoint the location of targets to which he has attuned his Pesquisa to from a very, very far distance. However, by no means can he use his Pesquisa to discern his opponent's specific movements in combat. His Pesquisa, in combat simply gives him the general direction of his opponent, and not the opponent's attack. He does not need to do anything special to use his Pesquisa, and a simple glance at his opponent or the mere act of being within 100 meters from him triggers the technique.
- Sonido Magnetico: Z's Sonido is unique compared to most Lanza. It grants him the ability to move at blinding speeds, which is simply like most Lanza using Sonido. However, the real uniqueness of his Sonido lies in its ability to utilize magnetic properties. If he steps on a surface with an opposite charge to that of his feet, he can propel himself at twice the ordinary speed of Sonido, enabling Z to move at staggering speed well above Sonido and Shunpo. However, should he land on a surface with the same charge as his feet, it takes him 2 seconds to cancel the effects of his charges, which will root him in place.
- High Speed Regeneration: Zasalamel has an affinity with regenerating any limbs or non-vital organs lost in combat. Therefore, this allows Z to heal himself in and out of combat, allowing him to fight longer, and outlast most opponents. He, however, cannot regenerate any vital organs, and his head, should they get severed.
- Campo Magnetico: Z has a passive magnetic field surrounding him all of the time. This magnetic field disrupts pressure and thus, virtually makes Z undetectable by sensors. It even messes up Pesquisa or similar techniques directed to or attempting to affect Z. This field stretches at a diameter of 3 meters around him. While this effectively hides his presence from sensors, this particular ability does not render him invisible. People can still see him, and everything, albeit unable to gauge him accurately, nor detect his presence by simply using sensory abilities. Also, anything that enters the 3 meter radius of the magnetic field is immediately detected by Z.
ZANPAKUTO;
Cielos Silenciosos [Silent Skies] Cielos Silenciosos, in sealed state, resembles an average katana, with a length of around 3 feet. Its blade gleams brightly with even the slightest touch of light. Along the blunt portion of the blade, several markings of power are inscribed, running from about 3 inches from the tip, all the way down to the habaki of the katana. The cross guard is an oblique design with a green outer lining. On the Cross Guard itself, the words "Mi Ultimo Silencio", which means "My Ultimate Silence" in spanish, are inscribed on the surface. The handle is wrapped in a solid-black cloth, capped off by an obsidian pommel cap.
