Quincy
滅却師
[/b]滅却師
[/u] A Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons.[2] They have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. They can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. Quincy most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords (Seele Schneider) or Gintō.
Quincy are spiritually aware humans able to absorb and manipulate Reiryoku into weapons. Unlike the Shinigami, who use a sword as their primary weapon, the Quincy's weapon of choice is a bow or crossbow. It is constructed from spiritual particles drawn from their surroundings, also unlike the Shinigami, who rely on their own innate spiritual energy (as a reflection of this, Quincies have white spirit threads like normal humans, while Shinigami have red spirit threads.) Quincy bows are summoned using an artifact called a Quincy Cross. The only limit to a Quincy's ability to create and fire arrows is their own stamina and ability to absorb ambient spirit particles. Quincies also have various tools and battle aides that can increase their power or serve as secondary weapons.

Spiritual Awareness: As a Qunicy, they can sense Hollows or other spiritual beings at a significant distance or tell in what direction they are in. (Note that this ability to detect applies only to targets equal to or lower than the Quincy's rank.)

POWERS:
[/b][/u][/u]
Archery
Archery is the most used form of combat among Quincy. Since they are still human, maintaining a distance from highly dangerous Hollows as well as launching numerous attacks on multiple opponents gives them a great advantage offensively and defensively.
Gintō
Gintō (銀筒, Silver tubes) are small silver cylinder capsules that store spiritual energy in a liquid form, and are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.
Hirenkyaku
Hirenkyaku (飛廉脚; lit: "Flying Screen Step/God Step", Viz: "Flying Bamboo-Blind Leg") is analogous to the Shinigami Flash Steps or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Take not that Hirenkyaku's speed is relative to one's Tier Rank. Higher Rank unlocks faster Hirenkyaku.
Rare Quincy Techniques
To go with their bow, the Quincy have a number of rare special techniques to give them an edge in combat:
- Ransōtengai (乱装天傀; lit. "heavenly wild puppet suit", "disheveled paradise puppet" in the Viz translation) — this is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough that only those who have attained the epitome of Quincy Power has learned of this technique. Dislocated joints and broken bones are meaningless against this technique.

▪ - Quincy: Letzt Stil (滅却師最終形態(クインシー・レツトシュティール), Kuinshī Retsutoshutīru; Japanese for "destruction sage: final form, Quincy", German for "last style", Viz Media Translation, "Letz Stile"): is the last resort for a Quincy using the Sanrei Glove. It gives the user a tremendous amount of power, but at the price of loss of their powers upon its completion. Take note that Letzt Stil lasts for the entire THREAD it was used before completely using up its power. It grants the Quincy using it a massive boost, but when the Thread ends, or the Quincy is knocked unconscious, that Quincy loses his/her power and must participate in an IC thread to regain his/her powers back. All known Quincy Techniques (i.e. Hirenkyaku, Ransotengai, etc) except for Gintō are all sealed until the user can get his powers back.
▪
The only way for a Quincy to regain their powers after using the final form is to first exhaust themselves both mentally and physically, then be hit exactly 19 mm to the right of their heart with a spirit arrow. After this, a pentacle-shaped scar will form on the point of impact, and their powers will be restored.
Quincy items
The Quincy possess numerous artifacts and equipment which help them in different ways.
- Hollow bait — This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts hollows when crushed.[12] When used, it is able to draw a Gillian-class Menos out of Hueco Mundo.
▪ - Quincy Bangle (装身具, sōshingu; lit. "Accessory"): Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles.
▪ - Quincy cross (滅却十字, mekkyaku jūji; lit. "Destruction Cross"): Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape, as Ryūken's cross is a pentacle.
▪ - Sanrei Glove (散霊手套, sanrei shutō): A powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but requires a dangerous and exhausting type of resistance training (wearing it for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows) to master. The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area, making it much harder to form a working bow. If a Quincy can summon a bow and use it for the required amount of time, they will have undergone a massive increase in power. When removed, however, the glove will release the user's energy all at once - first transforming them into a being of tremendous strength, the Quincy Final Form, and then forcing their Quincy powers to gutter out completely.
▪ - Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul"): The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles.
▪ - Gintō (銀筒, Silver tubes): Silver tubes are small liquid-filled capsules that store spiritual energy, and are used by Quincy for spellcasting in the same way that Shinigami use kidō. Like kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands

SPECIFICS
Sanrei Glove
This Quincy Item is attainable only upon reaching S-Rank, and unlocks Letzt Stil Quincy Technique (S-Rank). To apply for this item, submit an application in the Technique Registry with the Template given below. Remember, however, that your Quincy must undergo an IC Thread showing how he trained to master the use of the Sanrei Glove. Refer to the "QUINCY ITEMS" section above to see what the contents of the IC Thread should be. The Application should be filled out after doing the IC Thread. In which case, you should PM a Staff or a Mod for approval.

Once approved, your Quincy can now wear the Sanrei Glove, and use Letzt Stil. Remember, however, that should your Quincy use Letzt Stil, there is a drawback to it, seen on the "RARE QUINCY TECHNIQUES" section above.
Ransōtengai
This Quincy Technique is S-Rank, and is one of the more commonly utilized technique by Master Quincies. Simply put, activating this technique allows the user to move regardless of limb paralysis or damage. Take note, however, that while this technique makes immobilized limbs useable, this technique CAN NOT make damaged organs function. nor can it extend to another person other than its user.
This, however, can be used to render immobilizing Bakudo useless as long as the Quincy is in an area with high concentration of Spirit Particles. Seireitei/Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo/Las Noches are the only areas this will take effect. Karakura Town, while having high concentration of Spirit particles, will not cause this effect to take place.
Ransōtengai also has a limited number of posts that it takes effect. A Maximum of 10 (TEN) of the user's post is all the duration that this technique will last for. After which, it will enter a cooldown of 3 of the user's post before it can be used again.
Upon reaching S-Rank, you may submit a notice in the Technique Registry stating that you wish to learn Ransōtengai. Unlike Sanrei Glove, this technique is immediately learned upon submitting the notice. Here's the code.

Gintō
Gintō are Quincy Items that can be obtained upon reaching D-Rank. However, only a set amounts of vials can be carried, and they increase as the Quincy Ranks up. Also, once used, the vials cannot be reused again, meaning the Quincy has to make one out of combat or someone gives them one. Gintō functions like a Shinigami's Kido. They can be used for various spells, but unlike the Shinigami's Kido, they all require incantation and/or a combination set-up with Seele Schneiders, etc. Here are a list of some well-known Gintō Spells:
- Gintō # 20, Heizen 聖噬: This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from silver tubes which slices through the opponent. It is activated by the command "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!"
- Gintō # 34, Gritz (五架縛): This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target. It is activated by the command "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!"
- Gintō # 28, Wolke (緑杯): This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. It is activated by the command "Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!"
- Gintō # 87, Sprenger (破芒陣): This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal, which when activated causes a massive explosion within its borders. When an object or a person stands within the middle of the Pentagon can the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider trap them by wrapping and binding their legs to the ground with dense spirit particles. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time.
Like the Shinigami's Kido, Gintō scale in power depending on the user's Rank. However, take note that they will follow a certain ranking system similar to a Kido. Gintō Spells are to be labeled with Numbers as well, similar to a shinigami's Kido. The higher the number, the more powerful the spell is, and the longer the incantation or the more elaborate (or hard) the necessary set up is. Unlike a Kido, however, Gintō Spells does not exhaust its user, since the user does not use his/her reiatsu to activate the spell. However, as was stated above, Quincies may only carry a set number of Gintō with them, and can only replenish them outside of combat, or if another Quincy gives them one. Below are the carrying capacity of Gintō per Rank.
- S-Rank: 25 Gintō
- A-Rank: 20 Gintō
- B-Rank: 15 Gintō
- C-Rank: 10 Gintō
- D-Rank: 5 Gintō
Additionally, if a Quincy who lost his/her Quincy Powers due to using Letzt Stil can increase Gintō carrying capacity by an additional 15. This capacity increase only takes place as long as the Quincy's powers are sealed. It automatically switches back to normal once the Quincy has regained his powers.
You may design your own Gintō spells in the Technique Registry Section using the template below. HOWEVER, take note that a Gintō spell MUST have a German Name (the same way a shinigami's Kido has Japanese name). Remove "[" and "]", and replace "Insert ____ Here" with the corresponding data.
