- Hair is really messy and can never be straight. Probably needs to be constantly combed. Also probably needs to stop being subjected to windy areas, or places where the hair gets blown around and shifted a lot.
- Hands are big, and look pretty strong. You know what they say. Big hands go a long way when people know what the signification for that is. Too bad not everyone knew just what big hands really do mean.
- One facial flaw is a small crescent shaped scar at the left corner of Zouma's mouth. It's barely noticeable, actually. It's there none the less though. People that come face to face with him will see it full on.
- Tattoos? How lovely. There's a little white dove tattoo on his upper bicep on his right arm. Zouma's got it just because. He doesn't want to have a totally plain body, so he at least got some ink.
- A gash across his chest from a vicious fight that Zouma had. This gash became a thin scar, and has lingered with him for his whole life. It's not ever going to disappear, though it will fade with time until it can on longer be seen.
- Another random tattoo on his foot is visible. It's a knife pointing towards his toes. Maybe he means to stab people with his foot using a spetznaz shoe knife.
When one looks at Zouma Santeku, the very first figure seen is someone that is powerful. Zouma Santeku, by all appearances, looks extremely strong. Every little detail of him is a bit intimidating. Of course, this is to be expected from a Captain. From the hair to the eyes, from the clothing to the body type, from the hands to the numerous scars and tattoos on his body. Zouma Santeku is impressive. When one looks at him, underestimating his power is impossible. Plus, being a Captain does help with not being underestimated.
The very first part of Zouma's appearance is his eyes. When one looks at them, they appear to be kind, confident, and warm. He gives off a sort of warm glow feeling, like a guy that just won't give up, and will stand in the way of a shakkaho for a stranger. His eyes are a hazel brown, and the best way to refer to them would be strong eyes. They're the eyes of someone that will definitely be able to help.
The feeling is otherworldly, comforting, powerful. The eyes really do belong to someone that can be a Captain. Whether it be kindness or wisdom that the eyes give off. Though to be fair, Zouma isn't quite on the wise side yet. Youth isn't a time for tremendous wisdom. Zouma's eyes inspire such comfort in people, that just looking into them causes a feeling of vague warmth, as if everything will be alright.
Zouma's hair is medium length and unruly. It's a jet black color and flows randomly as it goes down. It's essentially like that because he tends to never really cut it. He trims it of course, and he keeps it from growing too long, but the hair really doesn't get much attention of care beyond that. Maybe it's because he just doesn't care. Hair isn't something that a guy worries about too much anyway.
Zouma once tried to grow his hair long enough so that he could pony tail it like a samurai. Unfortunately, it's unruly and wild, so he just can't do that. He's never been able to get it straight. This means that the best he can do is trim it slightly. This can be disappointing, or it can also be good if he realizes that samurai hair doesn't make a samurai.
Zouma's body is also in utmost good shape, very athletic. It is a pale toning, with only a slight tan. But, this is enough to still make it look decent. Since it has no tan it can't necessarily look good, but it looks alright. It glistens, since Zouma shaved off most of his torso hair. The only hair really on his body are the crotch area pubes, and the hair on his head and face, though he cannot grow a beard, or even stubble. Oh, and the leg hair, that's also important.
His muscles are very well toned, and very, very tight. They are tight, and a medium size. He trained to constrict them so that his appearance wouldn't be overly bulky, and he is broad shouldered on top of that. Zouma has the appearance of a middle class body builder, though his muscles are much tighter than one as a result of practicing something called iron shirt technique. His arms and legs are solid like steel because of the training. His eight pack can take numerous hard hit punches before he grows tired of the hitting, and his back is well exercised, as are his hands and feet.
Moving to the hands and feet, these are quite odd. The feet are perfectly normal, it is the hands which are odd. On the right hand, Zouma's hand is totally normal except for the lines on his hand. Most people, on the right hand, have a 'VI", roman numeral six created by the lines. But Zouma has an "XIII", the roman numeral for 13. It isn't certain why he has this.
The left hand doesn't have the "IV" pattern that most have, which is the roman numeral for 4. Instead, Zouma has an "IX", the roman numeral which signifies the number 9. It kind of makes him feel like a freak, but of course he isn't one.
The markings and scars on his body, the tattoos, all tell a story. Zouma is not one that gets injured too often, and most of his scars are from training rather than battles. However, one battle scar that he does indeed have is a wide gash across his back, inflicted by a slashing chain whip when he battled a powerful hollow with a whiplash attack. The scar is something that has been left on Zouma for the rest of his life, and left an impression on him as well. This is accompanied by six very minor scars on his back, two on his chest, and a few on his left leg. All in all, not too many scars.
There is a black ink tattoo over Zouma's heart, however. The tattoo is a circular swirl, and contained in it is the number 13. This tattoo was imbued on Zouma only recently, as a result of some very harsh training that he had to undergo. It is something that he despised going through, and it isn't something that he would want to go through again. The tattoo glows white whenever Zouma activates his Shikai/Banka. It never disappears or changes except for the glow. Actually, it really doesn't even do anything except glow. It's just there to look cool.
Out of uniform:
Zouma's outfit is the next thing. He has changed it up only slightly in coming years. His pants are long, smooth black khaki, fancy type. This is very comfortable to Zouma in battle, and it goes well with his shiny black shoes. They are actually sneakers, but there is some kind of permanent illusion over them which makes them appear to be dress shoes. Zouma's lower half clothing is of course a full black, because black is his style when it comes to clothes.
The upper body clothing is also black. He wears a very dark black t-shirt, which tightly reveals his muscularity on his body. Over this, he wears an unzipped, long sleeve, pointed collar black coat. The coat tail reaches down to the joints of his legs, and it is made of what appears to be leather. It is adorned with several square type runic lines running across it in a silver etching pattern.
In Uniform:
Put simply, in uniform (whenever he's in Seireitei) Zouma wears the classic black shinigami robe, and he also wears the accompanying white Haori with his division symbol visibly on the back. It's not a custom outfit at all. It's the traditional one that he wears because he has to. That's why he likes leaving Seireitei now and again, so that he can wear something a little more comfortable.

ZOUMA'S PERSONALITY;
PERSONALITY;
- Likes The unpredictable - When enemies are unpredictable, it is much better, a much more entertaining battle. If they're just overly reckless of predictable, then what good are they? None, they're useless. And so, that is why Zouma likes those that can make him think and guess.
- Likes Strength - Zouma likes strength. In himself, and in others, this is one of the largest of the things he likes. It is a main one, and it branches off into several sub likes as well, all part of this one, main like.
- Likes Control - If someone can control their powers, especially fluidly, all the better. They should be able to command their own powers like another part of their body. If they can't, they're no good. And so, Zouma likes it when people are in control of their own powers and abilities. Things are much more interesting that way.
- Dislikes Slow music - It drives Zouma crazy. He will destroy any source of slow music that he hears, because he just can't stand it. If it moves too slowly, it's dull and dreary and annoying like a buzzing fly. Music should have a nice, normal to fast pace.
- Dislikes Giant monsters or enemies - Really gigantic enemies suck. Why? Because they take so many hits to kill. It's a slow, boring, and irritating process. Especially when all they have is brute strength, and all it takes is an hour of landing small hits. It really is just a waste of time to face enemies like that.
He's a pleasant guy to be around. He's nice, and he's calm. But, he is also mature, thoughtful. Really, Zouma is the cool type of guy that a lot of people like. His likes seem to be stuff related to his pride and duty, or that are just awesome. His dislikes seem to relate to things that may remind him of his own fears, of things that could stop him from fulfilling his duty.
In pressurizing situations, Zouma is easily calm. In battle, he keeps his cool and focuses on the situation, analyzing things while also moving and fighting on instinct. He would rather fight with one hand, and keep the other ready to use a technique, or to cast a Kidou, or something along those lines. He just likes to keep some availability in his options, just stuff like that.
His fear of being unable to protect people is obvious. He has some skills and strength, but his limit to magnifying that strength is at the Bankai. Sometimes, he really wishes that he had hollowfication, simply so that he could augment his strength even further, even more than he already can. But, the wish for hollowfication is a small one. He rarely comes across someone that can challenge him when he's set his mind to protecting his friends.
He succumbs to rage sometimes, because a deep part of his personality, buried, is revenge. The need for revenge. He wants revenge, and he wants to destroy the object of that revenge. And so, as a result, he has a powerful undercurrent of hatred, and of rage and anger. But, that's fine. Zouma rarely succumbs! The thing that makes him succumb is simply stuff that reminds him of his revenge.
He acts calm most of the time, and knows he's pretty strong. He's good at analyzing, and good at noting random things about the enemy that are advantageous to know. Really, a lot of things are a hassle, and in battle he does talk a lot, but Zouma is a great guy that lots of people would like to get to know anyway. He's cool, and that's all that really matters when it comes down to it, right?
Zouma hates hassles, yet he is always in the lead whenever something comes up. He is confident, and never believes he will fail, even if he is bound to. When it comes time to finish the foe, he usually lets his teammates do it. Zouma will always save his teammates, no matter what the situation. Loyalty is number one on his list, though he is actually a solitary figure. He expects the same loyalty he gives from all his comrades and friends. Zouma's nature is not to be forgiving, and so anyone getting on his bad side will end up dead. The way to get killed around him is to betray him.
Bitterness. Zouma is the last person that people would ever imagine to come out bitter. And yet, here he is. Zouma, despite hiding it, is bitter. Bitter about his entire life. His earliest memory dates back to the human world, to his human family being destroyed by a hollow,. More of his memories date back to having and loving friends in Rukongai, only for them to be eaten by a hollow. Zouma is bitter, hateful, angry. And, he has come to a realization. It isn't just Hollows that he hates, but the evil that made them as well. He will destroy that evil, that is all.
Despite all of this, Zouma has a firm understanding of the world around him, of how it works, of the way everything runs and the way everything is. He understands the concepts of love, justice, hatred, war, humanity, what it is to be alive, what it is to be human, what it is to be good or evil. Zouma understands these things, and holds a negative viewpoint about the world and its humanity. Beyond his own revenge, beyond the vengeance he wishes to take on hollows, Zouma has one more wish, a wish that he will accomplish under all circumstances. Zouma wishes to change the world, and erase this feeling of hatred forever.

ZANPAKUTO;
Tenrai
A completely ordinary katana, for the most part. It has a curved, slender, single edged blade with a squared guard. But, it has a more custom hilt. The hilt itself is slightly curved so that the user can slightly change the angle of the slash into an unfamiliar one, and also, while it can accommodate two hands, and is better that way, the weapon is crafted so that it can also accommodate one hand, much more fitting to the style that Zouma prefers to use. The Zanpakutou blade's size is a solid 80 CM.
The hilt is tied by the common cloth, but in a dark red. And, there are multiple markings run all across the cloth. One of them is a long, golden dragon, which also runs in a shimmer across the blade. The dragon is huge, and resembles a chinese serpentine dragon. Essentially, it is merely there for symbolic purposes, and to make the blade look far cooler. The sword is actually fairly normal besides the odd colored cloth and the random symbols.
There is another symbol on the opposing end of the blade, this one being a stretched out green serpent. This is also to make the blade look cool, because it seriously does look amazing when it sparkles, especially in moonlight, even though Zouma hates moonlight! It's an awesome looking blade to say the least, and incredibly sharp as well, unbelievably sharp since it's regularly sharpened to face enemies.
The sword is built for maximum effectiveness over a long term usage. It's built in the assumption that a battle will drag out. This blade, in truth, is usually only drawn to toy for a few minutes. But, it's built for a long term anyway. It looks cool, and so that's all that really matters. Cool looks go very far!
- Zanpakuto Spirit: Lets start with the spirit. Tenrai is an old man with long gray hair that seems to cover his head like a mane, and a long gray beard that seems to cover the majority of his face. Sometimes he's seen smoking, and other times he isn't. He wears large circular sunglasses over his eyes, and traditionally has a very wise look to him.
Tenrai wears an outfit identical to that of Zouma's out of uniform outfit. This is to say that he wears black khaki pants and black shoes that go well together, and with a silver belt. This is pretty cool looking on the old man, since he's actually fairly buff under his clothing.
In addition to this, he also wears a black t-shirt under a long tail black leather coat. However, as opposed to Zouma, the old man wears his coat zipped up, with the collar covering most of his neck and some of his chin, though the beard also helps to do that. The old man is strong looking, impressive, and is a sight to see, even to Zouma.

The inner world that Tenrai resides in is a huge, infinite black space with literally no end to it. Only meters apart, there are gigantic green glowing circles which glimmer in the darkness. Each circle has a smaller, even more brightly glowing one inside of it. Though the circles appear to be vacant, they can actually be stood on like an asphalt floor.
Each smaller circle has a constantly revolving yin yang symbol within also glows very brightly. Essentially, this inner world is a very cool looking, though also frightening one. Though the circles are all relatively close together, they are difficult to jump to. It generally requires being hurled there, or using shunpo to travel from one circle to another.
Since there are thousands of these circles, maybe even hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, it is actually impossible to traverse all of them in one visit, two visits, ten visits. There are just so many of them that traveling through them all simply isn't possible. This means that training done in this inner world could actually get a bit confusing.
There are no view points and there are no marking areas. Everything looks identical, everything looks the same. There's no difference in any circle, and there's no change. Getting lost isn't hard. Whenever Zouma uses Bankai in his inner world, the circles turn red instead of green.
Click Here to see inner world - Shikai Phrase: Eviscerate, Tenrai.
- Shikai Appearence:
Zouma runs two fingers across the flat of the blade, drawing it over as he whispers "Eviscerate, Tenrai." And as his fingers run across the blade, it glows white. Once he has finished, the blade is left in a completely white glow. In glowing red, symbols form on the glowing white. The symbols eventually do disappear, but they stay there for a couple of minutes. Also, the guard on his sword disappears, giving him a guardless blade.
There are markings all over the blade in decoration. 12 in total on each side. On one side, the markings are in a dim gold, on the other, in a bright silver. Though both are highlighted by the red. The gold markings go in this order, from top to bottom of the blade. First, there is a squiggly line. This represents courage, or something along those lines. The second is a square with four dots inside of it, and a bunch of spikes on the outside, to represent life, painful chances. The third symbol is a tarantula outline, the representation is probably venom or something along those lines. The fourth symbol is a pig with horns, and wings. A devil and angel in one, most likely. The fifth symbol is a rabbit, a pure, innocent rabbit, surrounded by the sun. Not sure what that represents. The sixth symbol is rather fun, it's a large whirlpool type thing, like what would appear on a map if someone charted a whirlpool. It's to represent chaos, most likely. The symbols all have random meanings, nonrelated most of them. Such as the seventh symbol! This is a falcon. What does the falcon stand for? No idea. The eighth symbol, ironically, is the number 8, but in a more ancient term, and with some kanji as well around it to form SEVERAL number eights. The ninth symbol is a wheel barrel. Representation? Unknown. Really, Zouma himself hasn't even deciphered all of the symbols. The tenth symbol is a piano. This represents music, something that he loves. The eleventh symbol is the number 12. Why? No idea. The 12th symbol is three squiggly lines, representing a river probably. The flow of life maybe?
On to the silver symbols! The first of these is a crossbow with a flaming sword in it, and directly next to that, the second symbol, is a sinking ship beneath a crescent moon and surrounded in a gigantic galaxy-type symbol with suns all around it. Together and paired, they represent destruction, and abstractness as a couple. Next off, there comes the third symbol. The third symbol is rather special, for it appears only at night, and when it appears, it glows red, but the glow is visible only to the user. It's just a simple X. The fourth symbol is a full moon. Representation? Well, it probably flat out represents the full moon. What else is there to represent? The fifth symbol is a dragon coiled all around itself to form a sort of galaxy or universe type image. The sixth symbol is a remote control. What does this mean? Well, it means technology has a symbolic existence too. As for the seventh symbol, this is a hollow's mask. The eighth symbol, ninth symbol, and tenth symbol are all hollow masks as well, but all three of the masks are strikingly different. It isn't certain what they all mean, or why they're there, they just are. The eleventh symbol is an elephant. It represents...well...an elephant. There's really no other meaning to an elephant than an elephant, except maybe silence since elephants take soft steps, but in that case the symbol would be a blank space. The twelfth and final symbol of the silver side is what appears to be a diamond. It may represent beauty? The sword DOES look pretty good.
In shikai, he also ends up with his out of uniform outfit which includes the khaki pants, the coat, the t-shirt, etc. This is one of those things that's just cool to constantly wear. - Shikai Abilities:
Zouma's zanpakutou is overall a fire user. It generates flames. A sub theme is contradiction between light and dark, which is to say that some of the abilities are like something a dark evil would have rather than a burning light. Also, there are some abilities in both Shikai and Bankai that can only be used during day, while others that can only be used at night.
In Shikai, what is first created is a large mass of blue flames. The mass is called cold fire, and is controlled by the movements of Zouma's blade. If he does some fancy sword maneuvering, he can shape it a bit, though generally he doesn't really have very good shaping abilities. Preferably, he just doesn't shape the flames. The cold fire has a unique power. Any area that's burned, will also suffer a sort of freezing "clot", reiatsu wise. This means that an afflicted area cannot have reiatsu pass through it.
Basically, if part of someone's arm is burned and clots, Kido cannot be used with that arm. The reiatsu will simply get stuck and be unable to proceed. Of course, a reiatsu that is significantly more powerful than Zouma's will be able to overpower the clotting. As a generalization, the clotting usually can't be overpowered though.
The cold fire can only be used in the day time! At night, a whole new ability generates itself. This is a black fire instead, the sole purpose of which is to be able to deceive enemies. When it runs over a target, it doesn't burn the outside. It sends a huge mass of heat into the inside, and burns that instead. Therefore, enemies burned up will actually be preserved on the outside by the ashes in the inside.
Some enemies will be lured into a fall sense of security, because they will believe that they are unharmed. That is, until they feel the pain. It takes about 6 seconds for the pain to reach the enemy. After that, the pain will hit them dead on, and they will realize that something terrible has happened. Zouma has one special technique for each fire manipulation in both night time and day time.
Day time special: Kyousei Arashi - This is a unique technique that happens only when Zouma slashes and calls out the technique name. The flames rear up, and shape into a falcon made of fire. The falcon is around the size of a small building, and it rushes towards the opponent at great speed. Upon contact, it explodes in a powerful burst of cold fire. Small, but concentrated, this blast can encompass about seven enemies at once, and kill the three closest to the blast, while injuring the other four.
The drawback to Kyousei Arashi is that it will scorch Zouma's hands for using it, and it will burn and lick at him a bit with any flames left behind. Also, it does drain him a bit and costs a good load of his energy. He can only use it about six times before he fatigues too much. He can use it two more beyond the six, at risk of losing consciousness.
Night time special: Gosai Tsuki - When Zouma slashes this time and calls out the technique name, the black flames form into a relatively large snake, around the size of a large pillar. It moves at a great speed towards the enemy, trying to encompass them. As opposed to the day time technique, this one doesn't explode, merely consumes. The idea behind it is that this one can twist and turn to follow an enemy, basically it can be controlled.
The drawback to Gosai Tsuki is different. There is no limited number of uses for this, but it has a recharge time and a burn drawback. It slightly scorches Zouma's hands and arms, and it also cannot be used consecutively, nor can it continue indefinitely or extend indefinitely. The maximum it can extend is about 100 meters, while the maximum time it can stay out is about 11 seconds. The recharge time is a full two and a half minutes in between each attack.
Bankai
- Release Phrase: Bankai, Tenrai Ken'O.
- Bankai Appearence:
The Bankai appearance that Zouma ends up with is a pretty cool one overall. His entire outfit becomes replaced by a white, torn at the ankles shikusho robe. It has a black rim design going inwards more and more at the chest. There's no right sleeve on this outfit, and there happens to be a red fabric ribbon of some sort wrapped around the entire arm, and even connected to the sword itself.
By this time, the sword is only a black hilt with a guard on it. There's no blade left. The blade shatters during the Bankai release, and the pieces disappear on a current of wind. Based on whether it's night time or day time, something happens to the hilt. It's a really cool ability, but overall it should try to be less dramatic. When it comes down to it, this weapon is pretty devastating.
The hilt isn't just bare, it does have material wrapped around it. The red fabric wrapped around Zouma's arm also happens to be wrapped around the blade. The fabric is very highly durable, and so Zouma cannot actually be separated from his blade with any ease. Disarmed? He can just pull his weapon back to him, simple as that.
Zouma also has symbols adorning part of the fabric too. The first symbol is a cross with what appears to be an eagle's wing outline coming from the very top of the cross. This symbol stands for Strength, one of Kuroi's mostly highlighted values. The second is a circle with seven dots forming a tri-spike in the center, with a triangle in the background. This symbol stands for Wealth. The third symbol is a cubic design with pyramids inside each face. This symbol stands for Stealth, which is the key mark of the assassin. The fourth symbol is in rhe shape of a flame, and it had an inner flame at the center, both simply being outlines made of silver lining. This symbol stands for Bravery. The fifth symbol is significantly complicated. It is a bow with all of the previous four symbols located in between the bow and string, with an arrow notched, but not pulled back. The arrow is covered in an outline of flames. This symbol means Knowledge. Knowledge is power. Cunning and intelligence are the very roots of strength, and these can be used to overturn even a God. The final symbol is very simple. It is a skull with flames in the eye sockets, meant to symbolize Death. - Bankai Abilities:
This is the pinnacle of all of Zouma's abilities. The very first thing that comes with this is what happens in the day time. When in the day time, Zouma's blade "activates", and becomes something of incredible power. The blade regrows as an enormous blade, though it gains no new weight, remaining light. The weapon basically becomes a large buster sword. However, the new blade isn't made of any metal.
The new blade is made of a constant burning of energy. Light, gas, heat, and fire all make up the large blade, almost like it's a miniature sun. It has an insane amount of heat, and even though it's small, has a large amount of mass compacted into it. As a result, it has a slight gravitational field. The field doesn't do much, it's just a bit of a tug. This may offbalance weaker creatures, or just slightly move a person when they're moving, perhaps changing their aim by a crucial inch.
The blade is super hot, and doesn't cauterize despite this. Anything it hits is reduced to ash. It releases a large mass of high temperature heat into the victim of whatever it cuts, reducing the cut part to ash. Hit an arm? The whole thing is reduced to ash. Hit a tree? The whole thing is reduced to ash. Flames are constantly spiraling around Zouma during his Bankai. They can't be controlled or used at all, they're for flashy looks.
His reiatsu is basically a bunch of fire surrounding him. However, due to the intense heat, anyone near Zouma, within 10-15 meters, will start to feel the heat. Sweating and obvious other minor things can happen at the farthest of that 15 meters. At the mid, which is 10 meters, anything within that range will start to burn. Sun burns, first degree burns, etc. The burning areas will steam to signify the burning, so that the person knows to get away.
Anyone that gets within 2 meters for more than 25 seconds will feel third degree burns, even immobilizing burns that can even burn to parts deeper than the skin. However, it's unlikely that this last burning power will occur in battle, due to constant movements. There's a mass of this much power because the blade is compacted into a relatively small form. Generally, Zouma continues to fight with this weapon as if it were a regular sword, though obviously the effects are a lot more devastating. He himself is immune to his own heat, though occasionally some of the flames may inflict burns on him.
The night time is even more dangerous. In the night time, there is no solid blade. Instead, representing the moon, a large spiraling mass of white flames is present on the hilt. Instead of being used like a blade, this is used like a whip. In total it starts at two meters long, but it can increase girth and length. The length can become up to 250 meters long, while the girth will adjust accordingly. It's a unique ability, but it's also a strong one.
Day Technique 1: Taiyou Ken - A large burst of flames erupts out of the blade. It can extend up to 50 meters, and can encompass ten people at once. Anything caught in the burst is immediately reduced to ash. This is sort of like a miniature solar flare.
The drawback to this is that it can only be used five times during Bankai, and it also inflicts second degree burns to Zouma's arms. If he does use it during the fifth time, he gets third degree burns on both his arms and torso. It's not something to be used very often.
Day Technique 2: Aoi Tenpi - This triples the size of the blade, and turns it blue. The heat magnifies intensively, and the radius of the mini solar flare doubles to 100 meters. This is Zouma's signature day time technique. It's the final form that he takes on if he wants to destroy an enemy. The flames around him also turn blue, and they move into a constant spiral to surround him and his enemy. The spiral adjusts so that nobody can escape. It's basically a death match during this ability, and Zouma probably has the upper hand.
The drawback is that Zouma himself starts taking burns at a more constant rate as a result of activating this technique. This is to be used near the end of a battle, if at all. Traditionally it just shouldn't be used because of how dangerous it is.
Night Technique: Kuroi Hebi - This is the ace of Zouma's night time Bankai, but it is also the only technique that it has. The blade can become up to 450 meters long, with the girth adjusted as a result. If he activates this technique, the heat magnifies and the flames turn black. Also, six more "whips" form. Though, the whips are now gigantic black fire snakes. This is similar to the shikai night technique, except the snakes are much bigger, and there's more than one that can be used.
The drawback is that Zouma himself starts taking burns at a more constant rate as a result of activating this technique. This is to be used near the end of a battle, if at all. Traditionally it just shouldn't be used because of how dangerous it is.
