The situation concerning the Taichō of the Gotei 13 had truly gotten out of hand, and as result of such irresponsible behavior, concluded with an injured graduate. It was quite far for the current Sōtaichō to call such a meeting without war, or inner conspiracy. However, this situation needed immediate attention. As Commander, it was his duty to maintain peace amoungst his subordinates. However from what those around have told him, to what his purple eyes saw personally, nothing would be fixed without implicating serious interest into the matter.
Standing on the surface of the iconic, rocky mesa known as Sōkyoku Hill, Isao peered out into the bearing of the Soul Soiecity. Having the perfect view to see all, he bathed in his moment of peace. Having sent messengers to each respective division, the Commander awaited the arrival of his Taichō. Somewhat disappointed at the state of affairs in whole, one couldn’t frown on the fact that with conflicting personalities came conflicting views. This triggers differences, and quarrelsome mannerisms. For all who ignored or simply didn’t come due to unanticipated reasons, would be severely punished by the Commander himself. So for everyone’s best interest, coming to the Hill should be top priority.
His Shōtotsu at his side, Isao remembered issuing orders for Captains to carry their Zanpakutō. However, Isao only brought his for a definite reason; this would be revealed if the meeting regrettably took a pessimistic conclusion. His White Haori swaying as he stood, the emblem of his Division embroidered on the back as he continued to stand undisturbed in place. Business would be handled soon enough.

The notice did come as something of interest to Shinyu. All the same, Shinyu wasn't one to skimp out on meetings. Truthfully, he was already almost there, though there weren't that many that would notice this movement of his. Even still, he knew one of them was at the destination he was to arrive at. So, as he arrived, he yawned as his visage became visible for all. Shinyu always presented a certain persona at certain situations just for his amusement. All the same, here he was. He look around while leaning against what appeared to be nothing, even though it was a tree he was making invisible for his own amusement.
"Pleasant day, isn't it Sotaichou? It's been awhile since I've had to come here."
Shinyu said as he looked over the horizon. It was quite a view, though those that usually came here often saw it as their last view. All the same, Shinyu was here. A meeting of sorts was about to begin. How interesting indeed.

Hara was sitting in his Barrack thinking things over, Remembering what had happened with the injured Graduate, He could not believe that he was already somewhat involved in something like this, He just got out of jail not to long ago and was hoping to be able to stay out of much trouble, But surely trouble was coming with the events that had un-folded infront of his eyes. He was not looking forward to the day, Knowing that there would probably be talk around about it. All the while he would feel guilty for not doing anything to stop the situation, He liked to think that he was more serious than some of the captains, But if this was true, He should of stepped up and stopped it, Being a newer captain however, He did not want to get on someones bad side right off the bat.
He was rubbing his face in his hands, The water from the sink in his bathroom streaming out, Every time he rubbed his hands across his face a few times he would reach back down to get his hands wet again, He looked up in the mirror, His face being abit wet from the water he splashed on it to clean up, He let out a slight sigh as he thought about everything that has happened to him in the past few months. While some was good, A lot of it was...Not so good. He walked into the main part of his room, Opening up his Wardrobe, He reached in grabbing his Shinigami Captain Robes, He put them over himself, Looking out the window as he saw someone approaching the Barracks, He quickly finished getting dressed and strapped his Zanpakutou to his back. He collectively walked outside as he met the man before he could reach his room.
"Hello Sir, Is there anything i can help you with?" Hara was not quite sure what he was here for, The man only simple handed him a scroll, Proceeding to walk of soon after, Hara just watched as the man dissappeared from sight, He looked down at the Scroll as he began reading. It was from the Commander, Hara continued reading on as he read about a meeting that was to happen on Sokyoku hill, Hara was now wondering if it was about what had happened. He now felt a extreme pressure of worry come over him, He was already going to be part of trouble within not even a few months of being given his Captain spot. All beacuse some of the captains where not mature enough to deal with certain situations, Certaintly they had a rough job, Most of the captains had conflicting personality's, Causing them all to disagree with alot of matter's. Hara was pretty laid back, He did not really like to argue, He believes there is a time and place to argue, The time and place was not when it was happening.
Hara looked out onto the horizon, Seeing Sokyoku hill where he was to go and meet with the commander and the rest of the captains, Surely this meeting would be something to see. It would be the first that Hara attended. Hara began walking into town, Heading towards Sokyoku hill, He was extremely nervous to be going to the first meeting with the commander. Hopefully all would end well, Hara did not want the Gotei 13 falling apart in a sense beacuse of a few different views, Hopefully everyone would be able to work it out and realize that he have an important job to do, That there is never really a time and place for conflicts amongst them selves.
As Hara approaced the hill he saw the Commander standing there looking out onto all of Soul Society, He looked so intimidating standing there with his Zanpakutou, His White Haori swaying as the wind blew past his figure. Hara walked calmly up to the captain as he gave a bow. "Morning Commander, I hope all is well with you today." Hara stood back upright, Moving over to stand not right beside him, But off to the left side peering out over the Soul Society as well, He Zanpakutou strapped to his back, With his Robes flowing with the wind as well, He was impatient for the others to show up, He wanted to know if this meeting was going to be good or bad, He was hoping that all could be cleared up if it was bad, Trying to lighten the mood Hara said some final words before standing off to the side of the commander and waiting for the other captains to arrive. "Its amazing, Soul Society that is, Im proud that im am working to protect it, I would hate to see such a place go to waste."

Post by Shidan Yoritomo on Sept 1, 2010 19:02:21 GMT -5
Yoritomo had received the message fairly quickly, but to his dismay had to stop to answer one of his division member's questions. The questi0ons had slowed him from getting to the meeting, but had been important enough that they had needed his attention. The squad member had been asking about a possible transfer to another division for some time to expand his skills. All in all the boy was just giving a polite notice that he didn't want to be in the Internal Affairs division after all.
Normally this would sadden Yoritomo a fair deal, but he was more preoccupied with the meeting at hand. To be more precise he was worried about getting there on time. In order to meet this goal Yoritomo was now rushing along through the Seireitei utilizing his Shun-po technique. He may not have been the strongest shinigami in soul society, he may not have been the smartest either...he was faster than most though. To this reason he arrived only a minute or so later than he would have liked.
Landing before the Captain Commander Yoritomo would bend his torso to a forty-five degree angle giving a proper bow to his superior. "Apologies Sotaichou-Sama. I was held up with some important matters."
He did not try to use it as an excuse, he was merely telling his commander why he was late. It was an explanation, not an excuse. With his words said Yoritomo would drop into line, his left hand resting on his zanbatou's hilt and his eyes staring forward.

The captain of the 11th Division: Hazama Spector.
A battle-hardened captain, master of hand-to-hand combat, bearer of feral eyes only worn by fiends. Hazama, along with dozens of other tough, muscular men that belonged to the infamous 11th Division were in the training grounds attempting to become stronger via training. The squad that focused on combat, the main force of the Soul Society needed to be the best they could be at physical combat, otherwise what chance did the Soul Society have against hollows if the combat force could not hold their own?
Not a very good chance. As he was at the training grounds, Hazama was found in his trademark snake-skin combat outfit, watching his men train closely through the emotionless sunglasses he wore, his feral eyes looking for any mistakes or improvements to be made. If anything, Hazama wanted his squad to be powerful like himself.
The training had been going for hours, minimal rests were taken by the members in the training ground; Hazama being strict with his subordinates, ready to punish if any dared to speak against him. All of a sudden, he was approached by a messenger of the Soul Society. Turning to face the advancing messenger, Hazama stared at him through his sunglasses, awaiting the important news that was to be given to him. Surprisingly enough, the messenger simply bowed and handed him a letter. Nothing more. Nothing less. Before bowing as a sign of respect, the messenger began to move away from the area, most likely to attend to other business. Beginning to read the letter, Hazama grunted out of amusement.
So the commander wants to gather the captains at Sokyoku Hill. Interesting. I wonder if this will regard the recent news of the hollow rising. Hazama mused, closely reading the words of the important letter before slipping it in his back pocket, taking a quick look at his squad members training. "Subordinates! I must attend to important business. However, I will be back soon, and if I return and see you are not training..." Hazama told them, briefly pausing, a toothy grin appearing on his face, "There will be severe punishments." He finished, giving them all a chilling stare before disappearing from sight.
Hazama was aware of the hollow situation, he liked to keep on top of things, being in the dark about important information was similar to not knowing the weapon you are about to draw. It can be dangerous and change the whole tide of the situation. Hazama believed so anyway, making it a priority to know what others may not. Being one to respect bravery and power, he was impressed by the hollows and how powerful they had become, even surprising most of the Shinigami in Soul Society. Not an easy feat. At all. So when this news came, it was hard to believe for many.
Appearing at the Sokyoku Hill shortly after receiving the letter, Hazama appeared at the edge of the hill wearing his snake-skin combat outfit and sunglasses present. He tightened the glove on his left hand before resting both of his hands behind his lower back, looking at all the other captains currently there, including the all-powerful Commander himself. Realizing they all had their zanpakutos with them, Hazama smirked; He had his zanpakuto with him, yet not visible due to his ever-present Shikai, he wondered how the commander felt about that.
Now then. Let's see what all the fuss is about. Hazama muttered in his head, looking coldly at all the other captains and the commander himself through his tinted sunglasses, covering the eyes of a fiend.

Post by Sakurazuka Kazai on Sept 5, 2010 13:03:32 GMT -5
It seemeed that most of the captains were already arriving. Though, Kazai fro one seemed to have an obvious lack of interest to thee meeting. It really didn't matter to her. She didn't want to take part in it. She had no desire to be here, but being a captain, of course, it was her job and she would do what was necessary for her to hold her position as captain.
As such, she stood in her position, waiting for the captain commander to begin the meeting. Judging by his expression, he didn't seem to be his normal self. He was usually very warm and giddy, or rather, that was Kazai's view of the man. You could never be certain how one actually felt on the inside. In any case, she waited calmly for the meeting to begin, and for Isao to begin what she was sure would be a very serious discussion about the war.

Post by Okotte Kenkyu on Sept 5, 2010 19:36:55 GMT -5
Kenkyu sat in his lab, tinkering with an invention he believed would revolutionize the hunting of hollows. While the current devices allowed one to sense a hollow as soon as it stepped into the land of the living, this new one would actually be able to detect the subtle change in atmosphere that a gargantua causes. This meant a shinigami could get to a hollow before it even set foot on Earth's soil. A neat little device to say the least, and many hollows had died in its making.
The device, which he had dubbed the Shinigami Preemptive Attack Device, was only a few months from completion, and would be ready for general use in only a few years. Of course that was what his Squad Members believed. Truly, the device would be done in only about five months with very little interruptions. Kenkyu wasn't counted as the smartest being in the Seireitei for nothing, after all.
His eyes flashed to the large door of his laboratory seconds before a loud knock was heard. He almost decided to ignore it, and almost went back to work on the SPAD before another knock was placed. Letting a small sigh escape from his smiling maw, Kenkyu pressed a small button near him, the intercom.
"Come in." He said in his normal sing-song voice. The door opened, and in stepped a messenger. The man approached him quickly, kneeled before him, and held out a small letter. He took it from the man and scanned over it as quickly as possible, hoping to get back to his work. To his ire, it was a summons. He let out another sigh, letting his spiritual pressure rise enough to consume the letter in flames. Looking over to where the messenger had been, he noticed that the man was already gone.
Kenkyu almost decided to forgo attending the meeting, but he knew the new Sotaicho would not appreciate it. He wasn't one to normally care what others thought, but he had heard that a war was brewing. As he walked through the door of his spotless lab, he grabbed Bochi before sealing the door shut. It wouldn't do to have anyone snooping around in there. They may just get hurt. And the mad scientist couldn't have that, now could he?
He made it to the hill easy enough, and once he made it to the meeting spot (one which he believed was odd), he stood in a spot slightly away from everyone else. As he looked around, he noticed that several of the captains he had not seen before. Of course he had heard of them, he never let such important information slip by him, but due to his recluse attitude, he didn't often get to go out and socialized with his fellows. Something he didn't really care to do anyway.

Post by Healing Hands on Sept 6, 2010 1:14:55 GMT -5
Joining the group of captains already assembled, was the young leader of the Fourth Division. Coming like her age, swift and a breeze of wind filled with pleasent air about it; Kurenai stopped her flawless Shunpō and underlined the fore-telling echoes of her spiritual aura, with finally her very form and body appearing - coming to a stop among the peers in rank and the commander's powerful stance.
Tilting her head to the side, to read the number of assembled Shinigami, the dark-haired officer accounted that a good half had already made it to the Judgement Hill, and with those tresses being picked up by a light wind, she fell into, or rather solidified the silence, which had been radiating from her closed, coloured lips since the moment she had entered the round.
She knew she was a bit on the late track, though swiftly the mere matter was taken of her mind, by the surrounding, tense feeling in the air. It seemed almost tangible and stall, as if electric currents were loading up in the air and preparing to unload in flashing lightning and roaring thunder. Perhaps it was but the presence of so much spiritual essence, joined in one place of such grave importance, or maybe it was the captains' thoughts. Some of them seemed openly readable, easy to understand, like the few looks which were cast around to the Sotaichō's side-held sword. Crimson hues watched idly, with her body staying cool, the turn of the meeting to take.
The profile of her own spiritual energy resting, yet aware. Nature's steady presence of listening, without having to part lips in order to speak. Soothingly almost, she allowed herself a moment of ease, away from the thriving storm which the many flares of reitatsu seemed to project, and cast her red hues toward the horicont, meeting the far immortality of the sky's blue, as she wondered and spent thought, to the commander's reason to hold the meeting in a fateful place like this.
